Can't update radio...

My PPC6800 was just replaced by Alltel. I decided I would give this whole ROM updating thing a try for myself. So far, it's not going well. I downloaded the following files:

KaosROM v2.0 build 420
titan_radio_3.35.04

When trying to install the new radio the phone hangs at 0% then the PC PDA Phone RoM Update Utility displays the message: ERROR [262] UPDATE ERROR.

I get this evertime I try. Needless to say this is not fun. Any help would sure be appreciated.

this had been discussed in the link above in reagrds to the phone laging on 0% and getting the error you are getting.. If you have problems... please post in the thread that is provided in the link above. If this helps please click the thanks button!

Thanks for the quick reply. The issue had to do with not having "olipro 2.40". I ran that then was able to update the radio.

I now have an issue where when the phone is started I get the HTC logo with the version info then the Alltel logo. It now hangs there. I can't do anything once I get the Alltel logo.

Tried soft reset and hard reset to no avail.
