I just installed the new rom and for some reason i'm unable to hear anything when im trying to call someone. i tried calling my owned phone i see the phone turning on and it says it's calling but when i pick up i can't hear anything. are you running 3.35 radio?
your phone is unlocked right?
try relocking flash sprints 3.35 rom....then unlock and flash this.....Its a common issue if the radio is incorrect bro.

its all cool bro...nothing major.just wanted you to see..lol like i said i had to remove mine from my auto installer cause i did same thing.....it falls under settings on the rom install...if you try to delete just one you will have issues with the customizer...so best bet is to hard rest and dont install it again since its there already.

Alright so here is the scoop. I have been meaning to install for the longest time and I hadn't gotten to it, not because of bug or anything like that, just hadnt had a chance too. just flashed to this rom and if you do exactly what is asked of in the thread on the first page you wont have any problems. First thing I noticed was that, it took about 7min to flash my phone... I was extremely impressed as other Roms have taken much longer including sprints new 3.35 which is what this rom is based off of. Mad props for making that happen. secondly i like the fact that apps the most people would use are already pre-installed on the rom.... no need to install htc customizer or quickmenu and a few others. So that is a huge plus.. As soon as my phone booted i have noticed after boot up memorey is at around 24mb 23.98mb to be exact and runs extremely smooth. I havent installed all my apps yet, but i am planning on doing that now and will edit this post a little later. So all those out there who are iffy about flashing.... DONT BE!! It works like a charm and couldnt ask for a better result or outcome!! be Back a little later tonight!



update: It is official!!! The is the best rom on Wckediden!! I have installed all of my apps and configured everything that i could possible need! I get 18mb after soft reset and steady at around 15mb after usage!! I am extremely impressed with this ROM and hope to see KAOS only improves as he strives to make and give us the best ROMs for our phones! So once again, Thank you Kaos and Wckediden members for all of your efforts! I strongly recommend this ROM. If there are any bugs, glitches, or errors, I will post as necessary.... So far so good!!! Keeep it UP@

notice i believe my radio says 1.32 and not the 3.50 or watever like it suppose to be. i need some help lol

ya i seen that bro. but ya not to trash that thread im going ask here i tried to install the new radio or whatever that you told me to but my phone or computer dont like recognize each other. i get "error [260] : connection"

make sure you are in bootloasder mode.

ya bro i know i couldnt get it to go into bootloader mode since it wouldnt connect to activesync but i found my answer on google.

run iota cab in extrom..install to device then softreset.net fixed...

Ok i had this problem.... if you did what was instructed you shouldn have this problem... First thing is make sure you can make phone calls. If you can make phone calls but you cant acces the web or send texts then got to settings/personal/phone... then click the service tab and got to internet and click get ioata... If you dont see it working on trying to get your internet settings then do this.... hard reset... when you get to the screen where it asks you to align the screen go ahead and aling it... But this next step is most important!! After aligning the screen it well tell you that it is customizing in 3, 2, 1... DO NOT LET IT CUSTOMIZE!! You will need to soft rest when you see the Customizing in 3,2,1 etc. Then once your phone is loaded and you have the today screen, go into file explorer, and in your device you will see a folder that says EXtended Rom.. in there you will see the IOTA cab file. Install that, then soft reset. then go back in to the settings/personal/phone and click get IOTA and you will see it get your settings... THIS WILL WORK!! I didnt read the post 100% when i did it so i ran into the same problem.. IF this works or you have anymore issues let me know and hit the thanks button!!

i made a call and when i did i got an like recording saying

"you account is not authorized to make calls to this phone number. if you would like to have additional capabilities added to your account please call customer service."


im sure that means no one can call me either.



also i cant find that "iota" in my extended rom im looking right now and cant find it. my data and voice is all messed up

thanks for all the info but ya it wont even let me make phone calls i just checked that. so idk what to do? it gives me the error message i just posted but ill try to hard reset again and see what happens hopefully it works.

ok you can call sprint and they can helo you make calls again...or i can helo you make calls again, but i will need your esn number in the back of the phone under the battery.. PM and ill hep you... or download palringo and add the group "Wckediden" and ill be there under big jew always... i can help ya there.!!! Lemme know big dawg! If your gonna hard reset ... make sure you do what i said in my other post (the one above this one). Hard resetting isnt gonna let ya make calls agan. You need the MSL and MSID for that to work... I can get it to you like I said by PM me or download palringo from this site or there website its free. I can help you on palringo!!

alright well what do i tell sprint when i say i cant make calls? i dont want them messing with my account and i dont want to have to tell them i installed an custom rom. also jw how can you make me make calls again!?

just tell them you wanna actiavte your line and give them the esn and they will tell you the msl and msid number.... example ( ##335657#) if you have problems..palringo will be yourn savor .. catch me on it!

just say you need your phone activated they will ask you questions and you tell them the answers asnd they guide you through the process....takes 2 minutes to do.

alright i just called up sprint they gave me this number to enter ##555555# (not mine, also not sure what that number is but i wrote it down. i believe its the msl #) and than told me to enter the mdn or whatever with my phone number than to enter the msid with another number that looked like an phone number!? than hit ok and it power on and off. and told me i cant use my phone for like 2-4 hours!? true or false i can use it now or i gotta wait?

ok now at this point let me ask you a question. Does the pone load IOTA when you try to access the internet? if not go to file explorer/mydevice/extended rom folder/ the IOTA cab file. Install then soft restet and yhen you will be golden... on the today screen when accessing the internet you should IOTA starting to retrive the internet settings... Goodluck

just wait on the taskbar you will see it flashing iota... you need to run the iota vcab like we have told you already multiple times!!!!!! and than you will be 100% fine.

im not even sure if it loads it. i get an error message when i try to connect i get this. and i know you told me to do that with the cab file but i dont have that cab file.

hes right! Everyone has the IOTA cab file in their extended rom! File Explorer/My Device/Extended ROM/ IOTA.cab. That is the exact directorty. Your IOTA isnt installed I can seee that now. And if you did then soft reset! and try accessing the web or go back to Start/settings/personal/phone/ services get settings etc. And run the IOTA to retrieve settings

lol see now do you guys believe me when i told you that i didnt have it. lol i know i was seeming stupid cuz u guys were sure i had it. we were going back and forth you have it. no i dont. yes you do. no i dont. and etc. lol. but i seriously dont have it. i tried reflashing a couple times and nothing. as soon as the "your device will customize in..." i hit the soft reset button. i didnt let it finish counting. dont even think it got to the number 2 on the countdown lol. im starting to wonder if i should just let it customize. or when the count down is finished and it starts to customize if i should hit the soft reset than or what lol. but ya any help and suggestions from anyone would be appreciated i wanna take advantage of my gps now and my rev a internet speeds i wanna see just how fast it really is lol.

you may have done the radio..but its based off the whole 3.35 rom....but run the iota should fix it for you.install to device...soft reset..then try net...should be fixed.

well ill do that but here is my question should i delete the current extended rom folder on my device and just copy the whole folder you gave me to the device or copy everything in the folder you gave me to the folder on my device and if it overwrites anything i should let it!?


soft reseting now also and ya before i did i noticed that on the today screen the today screen is a blue and the like taskbar is a green. the top and bottom one!?

that is normal just reselect the theme that you want.

i actually just tried that right now before i read your post and you were correct. my internet is working now guys. thanks. but im wondering should i do what i said above? transfer all the files over to over write or just the whole folder or what? because when i compare my screen to bigjew's i notice he has like a "hidden file" thing in there and its not in mine and like that.

you dont need that but it wont hurt overwriting the whole folder.

alright ill just overwrite the whole folder that on my phone with the one he gave me and hope i dont end up in any more problems by doing this.
