Samsung has invested billions of dollars in Taylor, Texas, to set up new semiconductor manufacturing plants.



As production picks up and mass production is expected to be in full swing by 2027, the company has now ramped up hiring in the United States to meet the required human resource demands.



Hiring is in full swing across many roles



The company has made significant process in getting the production facility ready. It has been importing semiconductor manufacturing equipment and test production runs have already begun. It's aiming for full-scale mass production from 2027.



Advanced semiconductor chips will be manufactured at the factory in Taylor, Texas, including state-of-the-art 2nm chips. Samsung already has orders from leading companies like Tesla for 2nm chips built in the United States.



Many Samsung Taylor, Texas, jobs are now open across different fields. Process, facility, and quality engineers remain in high demand. The company is actively seeking etching process engineers, metal process and facility engineers, ion injecting facility engineers, as well as material and parts quality engineers who will work on site.



Other available job roles include semiconductor performance engineers, manufacturing quality and reliability engineers, as well as digital transition engineers who will analyze the production data. The company is hiring technical training personnel as well who will be responsible for field adaptation and job certification for the new hires.
