Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 get a new One UI 9 beta update with bug fixes

Samsung has released the third One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It brings only a few bug fixes to the device. This update comes one week after the second One UI 9.0 update was released for the foldable. The first beta was released two weeks ago.



The third One UI 9.0 beta update, based on Android 17, is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India and South Korea. The update's download size is around 538MB. It does not include the September 2026 security patch.



In India, the Z Flip 7's update has firmware version F766BXXUCZZIF, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7's firmware version is F966BXXUCZZIF. In South Korea, the Galaxy Z Flip 7's new update has firmware version F766NKSUCZZIF, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7's firmware version is F966NKSUCZZIF.



The complete changelog is listed below.

• Fixed an issue where the notification panel does not close on the lock screen
• Improved camera stability

If you have enrolled your Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the One UI 9.0 Beta Program, you should now check for the new beta update. You can do that by opening the Settings app on your phone, navigating to Software update, and then tapping the Check for updates button.



The update could be released in other eligible countries, including India, the UK, and the US, soon.
