Google finally sets a date for Googlebook pre-orders

During The Android Show I/O Edition back in May, Google announced a new category of laptops called Googlebooks. Since then, there have been various leaks, ranging from Googlebook apps to full-blown hardware specs. The wait is almost over, however, as pre-orders will open up very soon.

Google has revealed that pre-orders for Googlebooks will start on September 21, 2026. That means you?ll be able to put down an order for one of these laptops starting next Monday. The company also shared the teaser below, which simply features the pre-order date with the light bar that all Googlebooks are expected to come with.
