The official One UI 8 Watch update will soon be available for Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic owners in the USA. Samsung has announced the end of the One UI 8 Watch beta program in the country, so those who participated in the beta should now be able to download the stable update.
The update should also begin rolling out soon to Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic owners who didn’t join the beta and are still on One UI 6 Watch. However, it may take a day or two for that to happen. The stable One UI 8 Watch update was first released for the Watch 6 series on November 19 in Korea after five beta updates. Samsung has taken its sweet time bringing the latest One UI version for smartwatches to older models, but hopefully we’ll see the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic receive the update globally before the end of the month. To check if the update is available, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, go to Watch Settings > Watch software update and tap Download and install. Once One UI 8 Watch is installed, you will be able to enjoy the new features and improvements listed in the changelog below.
