According to one publication quoted by Ice Universe, Samsung will launch its first tri-foldable next month. The news comes with some key details about the phone, even though Samsung has been fairly secretive about it. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will allegedly measure 4.2mm thick when opened and 14mm when closed. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold7 (a bi-fold model) measures the same 4.2mm when opened and 8.9mm when closed (note that the hinge leaves a small gap, which adds to the thickness).
