welcome, confusing is how you make it. Now you passed the registration phase everything is cake walk.

It all depends on the preference.You can tweak your phone for stability or if you don't like the skin (themes) on you phone you can change it to what we have here available.We have rom chef that modify the phone program and get rid of bloat ware and that is available in the rom section.

Other then that.It's up to you, what you want to do do with your phone.The source and info is here you just have to do some research.
