Video Play Back Error

I am trying to play back some movies that I have recorded and want to watch that use Windows Media player....I have a different player for my divx movies so that works ok.

But say some lady friend sends me a "neat" video or whatever. I want to watch it, or ones I have recorded: "the source filter for this file could not be loaded."

Any help?

Anyone else experience this? O and I have the STAR ROM loaded...It has happened since I had that on my phone.

That's sound a codec issue.

try to paly through core player or TCPMP wmp doesnt support many file extensions

But I mean they are files that I record....from the video camera.....and from MMS...it has never happened before until the ROM.

i guess try another rom and read the log to make sure it has what you're looking for.

i'm running the newest NFSFAN rom and mine will not play all the movies i took days mixing and matching to fit on my micro ? it plays a few but i also get a area but only when i try to play movies the video playback works fine ??? help anyone thanks!

WMP but i downloaded core player it works fine but i dont really like it you got any suggestions! thank you !

tcpmp works real good for me, thats what i use..........

why are you asking us to fix an issue that another program solves and does better ? :P

dont understand i'm not asking you anything i just said dont really like the player any suggestions i mean i guess i'll keep digging around till i find a better player or a fix for WMP but it's no biggy

use TCPMP or Coreplayer they are the two best players out there...i mean i dont see how you could like windows media player more than either of those...function over form always man

i hasve to agree, i use TCPMP on my tp2 and plays it all great... wmp would have to have codecs and all made for it on the ppc platform than tested to see if they work and etc.... that would take some time to do so why not just use something that already has it mastered in my opinion...
