[NEWS] Samsung Omnia II (i8000) Verizon release

So the rumor is that Verizon retailer's will have the phone July 17th. I have trouble believing this for several reasons, but most notably because I've called around to a few Verizon Wireless stores and none of the representatives have heard of the phone, let alone received information and literature on it.

Anyone heard anything else?

a friend that i know at vzw said he knows their getting it but doent know when, he guesses late august or early Sept. again that is a guess
