hello, I have a HTC ppc6800 from alltel.
I am hoping to find a way to unlock it and flash it to a service like cricket or something similar.
I think its cdma but I am wondering if its possible to convert it to gsm?

well welcome and enjoy the site...i'll tell u what though...i think its IMPOSSIBLE to convert cdma to gsm because there is no slot for the SIM card in a cdma...so yeah..but u would absolutely love ur device once you unlock and flash to a custom rom :) ...anywho..nice to have u here :)

there is no way to convert a cdma to gsm since there is a lack of the sim card slot and they dont make ppcs that are world phones through cdma providers as of yet..... but welcome to the site and enjoy all it has to offer.
