Just wondering if my fellow junkies are into the fta testing. What setups you guys have? STBs etc.

whoohoo! i got a sonicview 360 elite with a old dish n single lnb heh just got it up n running yesterday and now i see this. excited! how come u didnt post wat u running with?

I'm running two dish 500 with quad lnbs 3 captiveworks - 1.cw600s 2.cw700. Pointing at 82,110,119. Been meaning to get an nfusion soon to bring in bev, since its been out for a while. damn n3!!!!

I would if I Had any :( sorry if I end up getting a dish 1000.2 i'll let you know cause i wont need my dish 500

Hey, only FTA I know is Failure to appear. Then I go and lock em up......

Sure if you want to cover the shipping charges :) But by the looks of it n3 is holding me back from buying a hd receiver, thus wont be needing the 1000.2 till then. Hope it gets cracked and then score a deal on an hd stb

Yup you pretty much got it right on... its dish that we get...all channels open. Just like in the old days when Direc*TV had those football cards... all you had to do was pop them in a iso reader and change the data to watch all the channels. Unfortunately those days ended in 2004ish which was know as black sunday when the tv went black and the channels wouldn't come in anymore because dtv had swapped out the old cards for new ones to prevent unauthorized viewers :) then the hackers moved on to dn which then they were able to implement emulation on fta receivers to emulate it had a dn card. And thats the story on how to get FTA tv :)
true fta is a whole other story.

i would get sv 8k with a-1 card. seems to be liked among fta-ers. i would get that too if i had the money lol:connie_mykilroy:
