Battery cover repair

Ok yesterday i was bmxing around and i took a spill and my pros beatiful dyed cover got some scraped of not to big but its all the way down to the white layer so i was wondering do any of you think i can like just put dye on the spot and it will work?

I had no wear else to put it except my pocket unless i brought a book bag but theres a possibility it could have got stolen then

well you went through some plastic if you are down to the white.... if you cant find a store around you that has some extra battery covers you would have to repair it..... to do so go to the autozone and get some fiberglass resin and repair the area with a thin coat. (jb weld will also work but wont dye.) than once you have it applied all you have to do is sand it with some 1000-1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. than once that is complete you can try to redye...... you will want to scuff it all so it doesnt dye differently in the repaired area.

Solution A: Close your eyes the scratch won't bother you.
Soultion B: Make everyone else close their eyes and they won't notice the scratch.
Solution C: Take a black 'Sharpie' magic marker and color in the white area. Far from perfect but great for lazy BMXers!
