Ok so this is my first post guys, this is my favorite forum and i trust the responses. Ive been lurking for a full month now and my xv6900 landed today FINALLY.

Questions are in bold... thank you for the help, and i promise i used the search :)

Anyways i put together a full tutorial using evernote copying and pasting tutorials from every valid source i could find to fully understand the whole custom rom thing. I thought I had it down pat from reading it over and over. Now comes the dilema...

My phone has WM 6, pretty sure. Should I upgrade to wm 6.1 before I run the imcokeman's unlocker? My plan was to unlock, soft reset, then upgrade stock sprint rom (dont allow customations to run) then flash rom of my choice.

Also, ive read its easier to use a micro sd card or atleast safer. I believe it has to be FAT32 however mine reads FAT, how would I got about reformatting it?

Damn Damn Damn... this post is all worng man... did u read the noob guide... this isnt a release nor is it a rom... you need to post these question at the help desk or something...

and to answer your question, yes you should upgrade to 6.1 before running im coke man as most roms you will be using are made for the latest version of rom

and do a search on formatting sd cards.... its been discussed many times on the site...

yeah, this is a question and you've got it in the rom release area

as for your questions i suggest you read the couple of tutorials we have for flashing rom's here, and to reformat the card you either need an sd card reader for your pc or i think someone recently found an app that allows you to do it from your phone
