i believe the way the sprint music store works is when you purchase a song from the store it puts it in your MUSIC directory on your main device unless you have changed the setting to save it to your storage card, in which case it would be in your music folder on your storage card. So all you would have to do is use MP3 Trimmer to open the music file and then trim it down to whichever part you want and then save it as something else. havent tried it but thats how i think it would work.

what do you mean it wont let you? try copying it into your ringtone folder in my documents. Did you try click and hold on it, then the menu that pops up should have a set as ringtone option

bro why you wasting your money on Sprint store stuff? everything you need is here....i suggest the MP3 trimmer venum was talkin bout i use it and works great...and i believe sprint music is put directly in your ringtones folder in the documents folder. And to set it as a ring tone go to your phone notifications and trust me you'll see it there as a ring tone...:)

hmmmmm alright try to take the music to your desktop by fragging through activesync on your computer..... than go to www.cellsea.com and see if you can convert it there easily or if it will let you remove from the storage card and all.
