Phone change help

Hey guys, I've bought a new phone and I'm trying to switch my touch over to my daughter and needed some help. Does anyone know how to change my phone# info to hers?? Sprint couldnt help me. I have the vista rom w/gps, and I'm not sure if that was why sprint couldnt do it. I tried to search for it but, not sure where to start.
Also I'm sure this is simple but, is there a way to disable the internet function on the phone?

Ummm sprint can do it for you whatever person you talked to is an idiot, i use to change phones over all the time...just tell them you want to add a new phone esn to her line....it's no charge and it doesnt f*ck with your contract, but be sure to check and see if all your plan features are the same cause everytime i changed phones they always screwed something up.....and you can disabled the internet on the phone in the settings.....i believe it says never and check that.....hit da rep if this helps you out man and good luck. :)

Sprint changed the esn information in there system, but we cant seem to figure out how to change it on the phone. I had customer service and tech support, both of them had me trying to use ##900417# with no luck.

Any one have any other ideas??

you dont have to change the esn numbers to activate a phone..... just tell them you want to acticvate the phone or log into the account that you want to put it on at www.sprint.com and than do it manually under change your phone..... and spritn didnt change the esn in their system sicne they will never do that because they too can get in troubles with htc for doing so...

Yeah, I'm not really explainning this well. What I mean is that sprint moved the phone (A) from one number and moved it to phone (B) . Phone B is working after we changed the phone# information in the phone. Phone A(Touch) is not working because according to sprint, the only way to change the phone# information is by dialing ##900417# from the touch dial pad. Which is not working on my modded touch. I guess once you dial that it promts you to enter you phone# and other key information.

it will be the same process and the reason it is nt working is because of the aftermarket dialer........ all you have to do is flash back to a stock rom, activate the phone and than flash back and you will be fine.

Gotcha, I just didnt know if there was any other way. My pc is down right now, guess it will have to wait.
