Email-Only Handset From Peek Available On Pre-Order, On Sale Monday

The Peek email-only device will go on sale nationwide at Target stores on Monday. The device is already available for pre-order in three colors; black cherry, aqua blue, and charcoal gray- with two of the three colors already on backorder. The device runs on its own “Peekux” OS with an embedded 104Mhz ARM7 thats part of the Texas Instrument Locosto chipset. Theres also 8MB of user memory, and a 2.5″ color QVGA display.

The Peek is priced at $99.95, with a monthly unlimited data plan that costs $19.95 per month. The service includes no contracts, no credit checks, and no activation fees, and supports up to three POP3/IMAP email accounts.
