Help! Which way to go...

In May I bought a HTC Touch from off of Ebay. In June I downloaded a registry tweak to the phone and changed the language setting to English. Well I guess I bricked my phone.... I sent it to some Cell Phone Specialists repair place. When my phone was received I was told that it was NOT a HTC Touch, it was a fake, a chinese clone, but they were able to fix it. Everything was going fine up until about 2 weeks ago........ No new software was added and when I turned it on it stopped after the HTC screen.....I've tried the hard-reset techniques that I have seen on the site but none of them work....Is there any other way that I can try to fix this problem myself so it'll work again, should I send it the Cell Repair again, or should I just toss it?:triste:

a fake chinese clone? wow, that sucked. is this cdma or gsm, first of all.

Man that sucks!!!! I really can not help you im sorry I still dont have that much of a knowledge but Im sure some one here will help you out.
Im just curious now…. if its ok with you may I ask how much did you had to pay the Cell phone specialist?? Once again im sorry about your problem that really sucks!!!

i have never heard of a knockoff touch... what provider are you? and if you wouldnt mind can you post up some pictures of the phone and some screenshots on the device information screen and the main homepage...... i would be able to help you out a lil better if i could see what i am working with.

The Htc screen is the last thing I can get....it never progresses beyond this screen now. I bought the phone unlocked, and I use it with T-mobile service.

hey bro i see what you are meaning if you want to pay for shipping over here i will take a look at it for you and should be able to get it working fine for you. if i do get it working and running for you all i will ask is for a donation of what you feel is fair..... if not all your out is shipping to me and back to you..... so i guess it would be better than having a phone that works because i feel i know what is going on with it.

haha its the kind side of me because i would be pissed to get a fake unlocked phone off of ebay and want it to at least work..... so im gonna help da brudda out.
