Dialer Pad

Sorry for all the questions. But i installed the Vista theme dialer on my touch and now its buggy. Like it will display the first number pressed but nothing after that, you have to go to anotehr menu and back and then it will dispaly all the numbers you entered. I was wondering how I could get my default dialer pad back? Or if there is another one that works good that someone could suggest. Also do the themes that are listed on the site work for the HTC Touch since its home screen is alittle diffrent from most WM phones? any good themes someone could link would be awesome also. Sorry to be a leech on things, still learning.

thats a different dialer so it will be buggy on the touch and all. those were skinned for lil different dial pad so wont act correctly and all. sorry bout that and some custom skins will be coming soon in the future though.

how do i get the original dialer pad back on the touch?

uninstall the cab file than once you do that perform a soft reset and you will be fine and back to the stock dialer pad.

i know i am going to become a pain here shortly :) But I can't find the cab anywhere and dont know the correct way to delete a cab file. Sorry for all the n00b questions. I looked through file explorer and tryed pocket mechanic remove applications feature and it gives me error each time saying can't find uninstall.exe sorry to be a pain...and soft reset is just top button power off and on again right?

no soft reset is done by using the stylus and using the reset button on the bottom of the phone. and that should take it off the list and all for you.

soft reset didnt work...but oh well i'll deal with it i dont want to bug you anymore. thanks for the help though.

hey man if u ever cant find something on your phonethis is what u should do "go to rograms click on search and just like u would on windows typ the name of the file your lookin for in the search box then in a few minutes it will com up and then thats the file your looking for " and also your question arent bugging us so plz feel freeto ask away

also u said u were having trouble getting that theme off well u could do a hard reset on the phone by holding down the call and end button and so a soft reset with your stylus at the sametime and thats a hard reset and will put your phone back to factory condition
