65 emulator

i stumbled across the 6.5 emulator which i downloaded from microsofts webiste....ive been looking all over the net for a way to test out custom roms with this program with no luck...is it not possible? or is there another program similar to this one to test out roms before flashing?

no there is no wasy that i know of for roms... the emulators are ofr apps and such to test on for the developers so they can quickly and easily test the app that they are creating without having to keep installing onto their device..... they can see how it reacts on the emulator thus the need for one.

EDIT: also to test the widgets that are made for wm 6.5

no problem and trust me i wish that there was an easier way too

it just seems like if its possible to emulate that rom...why not custom?

the way that the program was built.... it uses a generic 6.5 rom not a carrier specific one so all will be able to be tested on it.... and it just emulates the program and what it will do not actually installs it to the emulator itself.

the reason i ask is im using the energyrom for my TP and its so sweet i dont wanna flash to something else unless i know it will be something id stick with...the new manila 2.5 roms look cool but most of them are buggy from the looks of it

for sure, all the manila 2.5 roms will be buggy at this poitn and gonna have to do it the old fashioned way like the rest of us.... after a while you will be able to do it to your likings soooo fast it wont even be funny.

hahaha glad to hear that and no troubles, i spend most of my time online at work and am rarely on when at home : ) so i get paid for being online and doing what i want from my job :)
