Welcome to my kitchen!

Here's what's on the menu today...

This is an HTC Diamond CDMA ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.

I always build my ROMs with three main goals.

• Eye candy.
• Speed!!
• Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).


I usually make 3 versions of this ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.

Here are the different versions and what they mean.

• "Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium*) and the Tachi dialer

• "Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version. This also includes the regular HTC dialer

You will find TWO core versions of each of the above versions.

One based on an the latest official windows build (currently 21864) and the other, built on the latest beta.

Currently the fast, stable, most bug free "official build" is 21864. I recommend you start with that first! :)

3 Row Start Menu




This will arrange your icons and folders like microsoft intended it, on 3 rows instead of 4.

Tachi dialer disabler





Tachi disabler cab will disable the Tachi Dialer and enable the built in microsoft dialer. This however will disable calling from the TF3D, and possibly in texts and emails.
you'll have to do all your dialing from the dialer itself or the built in Contacts interface (on the start menu or the right softkey on the homescreen).

nah man i tried it, but it was a bit buggy so i went back 2 the regular energy rom. i had deleted the sept 6 old rom. have u tried the new one?

im trying it now and for some reason i type in the number in to dial in the phone pad and it wont call no matter what i do.. i haven't synced my contacts yet.. but its because i always flash 3 times with new roms and then hard reset atleast twice and then reflash and then start all my customization.. i know it's a long process but it helps.. well in my opinion... the way i look at it is if you are gonna have to hard reset your phone a million times.. atleast do it in the beggining... and the tabs aren't that sexy as i was hoping it would come out... and a few folders have a few extra's but nothing too crazy.... and it's just not as cool.. but as for stability and control it seems ok but i need to use it for a few to give an accurate rating but as for right now... the only thing on my mind is that damn calling pad... idk... i'll let you know when i'm done syncing contacts if it works...

vertical and not portrait? those are the same thing.... and did you hard reset and take the battery out after flash? how long have you had this on your phone may be time to do a hard reset and clear the mess up if you have done a lot of installing and uninstalling especially, clean up old messages through text that you dont need anymore, clean out the old emails, etc.

wassup dash!! yeah i did a hardreset after install, this rom is brand new 2 me, trust me everythin is fine didnt even install 2 much crap still got alot of space, and u kno wat i mean about the pix lol, sorry, i ment they are portait but i want it to come out in landscape or the normal way lets just say lol, u kno a fix? its weird, i might go back 2 the old htc album to see if dat works... messing up my twitpics lol

I really like this ROM .. its actually quite flawless jus as good as ma nxt fav the murdaROM .. how every i find that it aint as speedy as ppl say it is .. laggs a lil bit . but im thinking its cause i installed it on a Touch Pro i didnt realize it was for DIAMOND until now .. what do u guys think .. could that b the reason?

+1 on that.. ALWAYS be sure you are flashing a rom for YOUR device.. i'm really surprised it let you flash to be honest... another thing is to make sure u dont put a GSM rom on a cdma phone & vice versa.

yeah you go into any contact info and select edit.. once in edit you select change pix... i haven't tried doing all contacts to one pic so i'm sorry but i can't tell you how to change everyone... hopefully this answers your question

It would be one of the Manila files , there are a gain of them best bet would to wait for a Designer here on the site to help you out...
