Recooking ROMS

Alright, I use MightyROM and I love it.
I don't want to change anything with it, i just want to ADD things to it.
There are somethings I like that go specifically with MightyROM and somethings I use everytime I hard reset, or reflash.
(CommManger + Cal + Call History tabs, Dashwire, Mightyrom Blue theme, ect.)

Is there a way to add these files into the ROM so when I Hard reset (I tinker) or reflash (The constant updates) I don't have to reinstall everything everytime?

(I've tried SDConfig and it isn't working for me, I'd rather them just be cooked in.)

If not, I guess I'll figure out SDConfig.

Using SDConfig is going to be 10000000% easier then cooking roms.....a few simple entries and that it.....easy as pie, Superman369 made a tutorial on how to create the xml for the config,.....and if you still cant figure it out there are members at ppcgeeks who are doin requests for custom sdconfig.txt and im sure they will make it for you sense it is just a few apps you want to install.....

It says nothing can be found when it reads the .txt

So it's working, but it can't find anything.
I've tried changing capitalization, and even deleting the \Storage Card\ part of it to no success.

Anyone have any help for me?

just copy paste what i wrote and replace the directories and cab names.....if ya cant get it send a list my way an ill do it for ya dashy

kk all i need is the folder name they are in and the name of cabs......im at work and ill try to get to it while im here, but if i cant ill have it ready when i get home and ill send it to ya via pm or ill text ya an let ya know its done.

What does your SD card look like. Do you have all the files in a folder called cabs in the root directory of your SD card? If not then it wont work. Are you using my tool I provided in my TUT thread?

Yeah, I have some deeper in the cabs folder, but it can't find the files even in the cabs folder on my SD card.

1. how long do you think it'll take for a noob like me?

2. where can i find a link to create roms for my phone?

3. is it even possible to create a rom like this?

Yeah there is a way to do it , but if you have never done it before prepare to read up. Go to PPC Geeks or PPC Kitchen and you will most what you need there to get started. You need to find a Kitchen and either OEM package you like or build your own. I would find out tutorials on how input regristy string for the rom too. Not a easy noob project lol.... But good luck with that

LOL i would wait an learn your phone better and be on the site a little longer , heck I have been on Wckediden over a year now an i am just build my first roms. They are nothing I would release lol. Yeah gonna have to do a lot reading an know your phone well. As far bricking your phone you wont not making a rom at least.

dude he already gave you many links you have to read the ones he gave you..... he did all you can and the rest is on you reading through what he gave you and learning through trial and error... you seem to be very new to this game and i would get to know your device before you even go cooking since it is not an easy thing to master.... master the phone since for registry tweaks you will need to know it and a rom without tweaks to the registry tweaks is going to perform lie crap.
