Dialer skins

I tried installing a dialer skin though cab file. but im guessing thats not how you do it. Are you supposed to use total commander, and if so how do you install through that?

If its just a cab file, you should just install and then soft reset.. Also, which dialer did you install, as no all dialers can work on the PRO?

yeah i did reset it, i tried red dialer, hello kitty for goofs and another one just to get that boring white dialer off. but i keep getting nada.

what rom you running?

Yeah i have the touch pro. ive been playing around with new roms just recently and i actually have tried this on two rom the ATR 3 and the mighty rom 4 thats the one im on currently

it there anyway u can link us to the dialer so we can see if its vga/qvga or even works on tp ?

im not sure how i would link you to my dialer, and i have installed cab apps that are vga on my sprint touch pro, its fairly new i bought it no more than 3 months ago

well i havent unistalled the one VenumX posted on this thread other wise its just the same white sprint stock dialer that keeps showing up and i dont know where that link is, thats what mighty mike put on the mighty rom 4 thats all i know

well if no ones else is able to solve this problem u might want to go back to mighty rom ORIGINAL thread on ppc and ask there..

You might wanna try advanced config and disable HTC S2A Dialer and see if the skins show up on reg MS Dialer? never tried that, not sure how mighty built his rom haha

No only one way to install a cab. ROM cookers these days just cook dialers directly into the ROM without telling you :) they may have both cooked teh same dialer in. I dont know for sure though, thread is on ppc geeks, please get back to us over here if you get an answer:

well if u dont like the default dialer that mighty cooked into the rom u can always download and install ADVANCED CONFIG V3.3 and go under PHONE/phone skin and disable it.. but then it is an ugly a$$ default dialer (see attatched images)
