[Theme] TF7X-by-PROBEX

THIS IS THE VGA THEME FOR THE TOUCH PRO NOT THE WVGA THEME FOR THE PRO2



and here's the white version


Well here is my latest and greatest TF3D theme fully CFC compressed speedy as hell after 1st load. Its my take on a windows 7 mobile theme took me almost a month to skin everything. This theme is using showaco's bbtheme layout as a base but it has been tweaked and re-skined by me. Its running 14 tabs with the HD people tab/Music tab/and Albums tab. also full TF [12aon] landscape. Included in the .zip is a CDMA dialer [conflippers S2A] fully skinned to match, as well as a modified version of [Towens] start menu cab with start/wait/and ev icons reskined by me to match. Its a full on transformation. These files totally overwrite your existing TF3D configuration so if your in love with your set up of TF don't apply this theme-but it is uninstallable after uninstall it will revert back to your previous setup



Install Instructions



EDIT: DO THIS STEP ONLY IF YOU ARE RUNNING A STOCK SPRINT ROM.

unzip the .zip file SPRINT Flip clock fix

move the manila files from inside the folder to your device [excluding the folder called back up... this is a backup of the stock sprint files for you to revert back to later if you want to change back to stock]

unload TF3D from your today screen settings start/settings/today/items/ uncheck Touchflow3D

From your device using totalcomander or whatever. move the manila files to your windows folder and overwrite when prompted.

reset your device and restart TF3D

see if its working with the new clock [it should be] test everything landscape ect....

if all is well load my theme.cab

reset.... and your good to go. .

EVERYONE ELSE JUST DO THESE STEPS

1.Disable TF3d from today settings [VERY IMPORTANT]
2.Install TF7X-by-PROBEX.cab
install takes a long time like 6 min or so...
reset when prompted.
3.[CDMA-only-dial-skin] Install S2A-TF3d.cab
reset when prompted
4.Install PROBEX-blue-VGA.cab
reset.

Now you should be totally redesigned

The wallpapers were installed to your "my documents" folder goto settings tab wallpaper aim "my documents" and choose the one you want..Some roms don't take the first time choose use default then re enter settings tab/wallpaper/mydocuments and select one of the 3 I included.



Recomended Alternate mods: to change the green menu highlights to grey

Below registry changes will allow you to change the highlight color in the start menu and other windows from green to grey. Assumes you are running the HTC Black theme.

HKCU/software/microsoft/today/HTC Black.tsk
change "Color_Highlight" value to 77 77 77 00

HKLM/software/microsoft/color
change "33" and "34" values to 77 77 77 00
change "BaseHue" value to 160

HKLM/Software/HTC/EnlargeMenu/
ManilaCustomHLUp and ManilaCustomHLDown, change both to 00ababab hex value, that should change enlarge start menu to grey

MENU COLOR MOD ABOVE NOW AVAILABLE VIA CAB INSTALL BELOW

Uninstall Instructions

SK tools or installed programs- uninstall all PROBEX cabs & softreset

UPDATE: loaded up the TL skin and the S2U2 skin for this theme.


S2U2 install instructions Load cab to your phone it assumes you have S2U2 installed in program files S2U2 after you install goto your s2u2 settings and choose clockD. I skinned the lock thingy as well this is ready for the latest version of S2U2.

Tlock install instructions unzip on your computer or ppc and move the files to your TL install directory. overwrite when prompted.

FINAL-UPDATE: Here is a new version TF7X-White [recommended] with all white fonts on all tabs as well the dial skin now has white fonts in contacts ect.. and 1 new wallpaper & the bellUI.tsk and the [recommended] godson font cab to go along with it.

If you already have installed TF7X and want the new version then just disable TF3D uninstall the TF7X and TF7X dialer then install the new version of the TF7X-white theme and dialer then reinstall the VGA blue cab after installing those

naw my old man (before i hooked him up) was using a trial version for over a year... the only thing you get rid of when registering is the nag screen..... its still somethingt hat you are doing wrong than bro.... go through your settings and make sure that zip folders and .tar folders are checked.

either your doing somethirng wrong or your computer is messed up since you are the only one with these troubles and i too tested again and had no troubles..... can you provide us with some screen shots of the file that you download and than what happens when you extract the files and what they look like since sometimes we can see the trouble in screenshots instead of going off of thoughts.

So i got it working now...still not sure wut happened all i know is i was finally actually able to open the zip file but i open it through my phone. The wired part is i didn't change anything so i got it installed thx alot to the people that were trying to help me if i actually figure out wut i was doing wrong i post it thanks again

Ok so this is wut i beleived worked. Wut i did is logged onto the website using my phone and download the zip file then from then i was actually able to open it. Then once i sync my computer to my phone and copy the file from my phone to my computer then i was able to unzip it and i wasn't getting that one file. However all the other zip files i downloaded from my computer i still cant unzip them correctly don;t understand that part. BUT THE GOOD NEWS ITS WORKS

yes this will work you just wont see the landscape icons and you will have some others that arent used since the pro has a few more icons..... but anyways you need to install the cab for the sprint flip clock and than reinstall the skin and you will have no troubles.

Thanks for the quick posts. I installed the flip clock_black pro that Probex included in his packages which was several manila files that i copied and overwrote into the windows directory. Is there another .cab install that i am missing?

did you soft reset after you installed everything again..... those files you overwrote wont show until the device is rebooted.

definitely reset the phone, it was the 1st thing i installed per Probex's instructions for a sprint stock ROM, it definitely changed the clock. Just as you can see from my pic it doesn't look like your video on your phone Dash.... Thanks again in advance.

dont know what to tell you than....... you did disable the plugin when you did all the installing correcT? i know this isnt going to sound fun but disable it and than reinstall all files again and than soft reset and see if that does it for you

For the most part I had no trouble at all. I still need to do the small touches, I really like it. Im running with the mighty rom reborn rom and I have no complaints.

you have to have throttle launcher installed first and then you should find it in devicememory/programfiles/throttlelauncher...not exactly sure about that cause I don't use TL but the directory should be something like that

menu for what? are you talking about the drop down menus? if so, there is a real nice application that i use all the time called "UITweaker" itb was posted by taylorWckediden, just type it in the search box above. that application lets you FULLY customized the colors of your menu screens.

First off I have gone thru all the steps over and over and when I enable touch flo back all that is coming up with this theme is the colors and the taskbar. No icons, no Wallpaper. Im using the mightyrom reborn, is that gona have anything to do with it ?

By the way whats S2U2?? Do I need a cab for this thingy!

You flashed to the wrong rom bro from what i heard you can only use lil ricos themes for that rom

Well I installed the Mad Scientist and Oz

So thats why im not understanding why this one wont work, It's been pissing me off! Cause I like the Reborn Rom its fast as hell!

Should I do some other steps? Different Process? & what the hell is S2U2?

yea idk y that theme is working but it says use lil ricos themes only and s2u2 is a lock for your touch pro u slide to unlock and your phone unlocks its a very nice app bro

can you take a screenshot so i can see what your diamond looks like and what troubles you are having so i can help troubleshoot the issue for you.... and this will work oon myghty rom.... used it on my touch prio without troubles thus why he has the custom taskbar made especially for mighty rom.

Ok so first I didnt kno that he had a zip within a zip, found that out! After finding this out I Unzip it all and followed his instructions with-in the zip. Did the White cab first, then the S2A, and then the Blue-VGA. Did a reboot after each cab install. Then after the final Vga it does a reboot right after installation. So when it comes back on and I turn back on TF3D All that changes are the colors in the menu and the curtains. So I toggled around in the today screen and saw that there is another option/theme besides the HTC black and I clicked it but no Icons nor Wall paper are showing, I am still seeing my Default MightyRom Reborn Icons. And the taskbar does change! Weird huh ?

I also noticed that In my internal storage there was a windows files with what looked like all the manilla files from TF7X but I didnt click on any of them to check and see if they were from TF7X.

The only problem that I am getting so far seems to be the Icons and Wall paper, Theme is not fully installing.

Maybe because I didnt get the original first? Maybe because I installed just the White version which he added later?

okay, to take screen shots, download "shake and save" and installed to your phone. also, did you remembered to turn "off" your tf3d PRIOR to installing all this?

Well there are many roms out there bro so many good ones i was using juicy7 great great rom but i wanted to see what else was out there so i flash to might5 and its just as great dont hog memory like juicy7, everyone here will have there prefrences so u should just read about the rom make sure u read good as can u can see u didnt read about lilo rico themes only on mighty huh, and just flash away if u dont like well all u have to do is flash just like u did tha first time no need to unlock nor remove ur old rom .

well if you want 6.5 then there are many "experimental" roms out there, but none of them "really" stable. i will strongly suggest ATR3v2 6.1, it's fast, GREAT on battery, and very reliable. but as always, roms are the user's choice, so you can try to run a few, and try them out, and then make your decision. NOW BACK TO TOPIC.

can you take a screenshot so i can see what your diamond looks like and what troubles you are having so i can help troubleshoot the issue for you.... and this will work oon myghty rom.... used it on my touch prio without troubles thus why he has the custom taskbar made especially for mighty rom.

Ok so I uninstalled MightyRom Reborn and Installed 4.8, Did I screw myself by just going back to the same problem cause my icons still wont load That is my screen shot after doing the process in which is explained! So do we have a direct link for the Rom I need t have this wonderful theme ?

It's just the point im not seeing how I can have the MadScientist .Cab install and work and not this theme..... it dont make sense!!!
