hey mike, just downloaded your windows black theme, but it doesnt contain a cab file, so i cant get it to install... any suggestions?:brows:

extract all the files to the windows folder and soft reset. you should b good

mike i followed the instructions and no luck. I was wondering the extraction created a black vista folder in windows...how does touchflo know to read from that file instead of the stock?

are you using the newer versions of manila2d? if so, then the theme wont work kus the xml file was changed and the images arent in the same location. try to use manila2d customizer to apply the theme

was the customized in there? I downladed 2 cabs with the manilla name on them

Hey, I downloaded the black vista theme and tried extracting the files to the Windows folder but it said there was a sharing violation. Any ideas?

you have to use a tool like resco file explorer or total commander to allow it to overwrite and when it asks to overwrite choose yes.

you can use m2dc to switch between themes, way easier

i'm running the manilla 2d mogul rom and when I us the manilla customizer it gives me an errror saying that it can't find any file with htchomecustomizer.xml or hh_* so it aborts the theme install...it doesn't work with this theme or the blackgold theme...any ideas or am I just SOL?

from my understanding is that if using the latest manilla cust the theme needs to be a certain format called .m2dc or something like that, but if you want to use it just drop all the files in the windows folder.

actually, you need to unzip the file so m2dc can read the xml

I unzipped the file and the m2dc still can't recognize...also I just put all of the files into the windows folder, did a soft reset and it kind of worked. The theme came up but touchflo started acting buggy like it did with the first few releases, i.e. randomly closing during certain programs like messaging. Also, as a disclaimer...if you are running the manilla 2d mogul rom, all of the skin files are in the rom so if you put the theme files in the windows folder and choose to overwrite all, you are still going to have to manually press yes to overwrite all of the files because you get the warning that the file to be overwritten is in the rom and changing it could corrupt your device.

hmmm, just to let you knw, some of the older themes like this one wasnt created to the fullest, like the creators never messed with the homesettings.txt and that could be your issue,and for the newest themes they all have been formatted to .m2dc.

Hey I came across this theme over at XDA by tWolf and they have a version converted to the file type that the m2dc recognizes...here's the link to the webpage: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1917

yeah i had this but i switched to the black gold theme. but i just switch them up every now and then.

i second that, even though its not as easy for me cuz i want EVERYTHING to match lol ,fron the home screen, to the contacts, to WMP, and everything that has a matching or similar skin
