Default Removing pre-installed crap

so i just got my tilt last week. just like any other new phone, it has a bunch of pre-installed crap (demo games, apps, etc.) that i know i won't use. i tried deleting them through settings->remove programs. but there was only one of the several things that i wanted to remove on the list. and even then when i deleted that one, there was an icon for it still on in the start menu. how can i get rid of this stuff so i can free up space?

there is no way to actually delete it once it got installed. but what you can do is perform a hard reset on the phone and wipe it clean like it came out of the box including no apps you installed or contacts. and than when the customizations run and gives you the 3 second time down all you have to do is soft reset before it installs and that wont allow all the provider shit to be installed.

and as a i told you in the other thread all you have to do is soft reset before the 3 second timer gets down to nothing... so hard reset and do it again.

if soft reset and a hard reset isnt working, u could always try flat out pulling the battery out... but dont wait for it to count down at all, as soon as ur done align screen and that crap, soft reset or pull battery... ooutside of that... just flash a custom rom...

Ha!... No prob bro... sometimes the most seemingly complex problems can be solved w/ the simplest solutions, especially when thinkin outside the box. but Im just glad you got it working for yah, and in turn can save your self some precious Ram... i know how it is, especially when I used to have my older generation touch, i to do math for everything i wanted to do on my phone... juist to make sure i wouldnt run out of available memory!... Glad I could help!
