because the earlier ones were the beta testing for public and than once stable enough the developer goes and places it for sale.... all developers do this unless it is a straight freeware

First off - THANK YOU for the new version with the keygen.

I have a really stupid question. So I installed the new cab and then ran the key gen and got the registration code. In G-alarm I put it in, but there is no "Enter button" or way to know if it has been accepted. You can click on the check mark, but the registration code just stays there on the screen.

so my question is this - how do you know if the version has been registered and is official or not?

hi yes use username but take username whitout charracters

If the serial is NOT valid or accepted (thus not registered) you will get a popup saying the code is invalid.

yes. The user name is the name you entered in the "owner name" section of your phone.

Also ssome people are getting errors because thier user name is too long (11 charactors or more).

Others are having a problem with the first charactor in thier user name is capitolized. ie. Godslunatk instead of godslunatk.

Just any FYI, verson 2.0.3 seems to be the most stable. If you install 2.0.4 without any uninstall or registry mods, it will uninstall 2.0.3, but it will crash, or shut down randomly. The same goes for version 2.0.5.

Another option is

1. uninstall g alarm
2. delete the reg keys at HKCU\Software\ageye\G-Alarm\RegKey,
3. you will see the value of the RegKey is your serial. Delete it.
4. soft reset
5. install 2.0.4 or 2.0.5


I have not got this to work on my Touch Pro running MightyRom 5. I am staying with 2.0.3 for now.

Version 2.1 is out, which expires on June 30, 2009. The Keygen is not working on this version either. I'm am going to test it and let you all know. I'm charing the phone right now and to lazy to plug it into the wall.

Also see below for some tips for a possible fix for v2.0.6.

This is from another board:

The kg refused to give the key with 10-characters of your username. However, it works ok with just "abcdefghij" (same 10-characters) when I tested up to how many characters it will work. What weirder is, when I changed the alphabet "r" to "s" (as a another test), it gives a key, - a & G


I used easy set owner and bingo . . . it worked.

Ok. If you are running v2.0.3 and you install v2.1, you get a popup with the warning that you are running a "pirated" copy of galarm and the program will not work.

So I guess with the new version they are checking for the keygen codes. I have not found any keygens that will work with any of the newest versions. However, I will endeavor to persevere.

The latest in the G Alarm Saga I swear this app needs its own movie trilogy.

The application is programmed to DO NOT USE KEYS. The programmer included all the functionalities on the application, UNTIL THE DATA that he choose. If you use a valid key, the program will detect it as a pirated copy.

+1 this is the best and easiest alarm clock progy out there. Finger friendly all the way. I too have been using it since it first came out.
