Xbox live friends status app for windows mobile

Hi,

I've just finished work on an app for windows mobile that allows you to view the status of your friends on xbox live.

It's an actual app, rather than a web browser pretending to be an app, that shows an iPhone style list of all your friends gamertags. It allows you to see whos online, what game they are playing, what they are doing in that game, their gamer picture and gamer score.

The application requires .net 2.0, so if you are using anything thats older than windows mobile 6 you will need to download and install .net compact framework 2.0 or higher from

Edit WebSite has been updated with version 1.0.1.0 of the app which adds a trial mode, to test out the application.

uh uh..
it says that i cant install the net file because theres an older version..but i dont know how to delete it!

What net file... this is a cab... are you talking about the .Net framework?

If you are, are you running the exe from your pc while tethered/synced up? If you are, it should overwrite the files manually...

what excatly are you doing that makes you say your not putting it on corrctly?

Hook up your wm device to your comp, make sure its connected through active sync or wmdc... then run the .Net exe on your computer... follow the on screen prompts, and your computer will load it up on you wm device for you...

it says i have to delete a previous version of it

well go into settings>remove programs and search the programs list and see if its there... if it is, select it and remove program....

if not youll have to delete it from your windows folder... but when I installed it just overwrote what evere i had installled from stock...

but i suggest trying to download and running the exe. file on ur pc again first, while tethered...

now, on the computer it says its good to go
but on the touch, it says i still need the newer verison of the .net framework
bu since i have wm6, i shouldnt need it right?
should i have saved it on the device or the storage card? i used the card

install to the device... and dont forget to soft reset the phone once your done...

Wow, this app is hot. I can see what the peeps are up to. Sucks it isn't cracked.. I can only see 2 people w/ limited. How much is £1.50 in $
