This version of Windows Live + Messenger for Windows Mobile v 10.6.0030.2100 was apparently ripped from the WM6.1 rom, I have used it on my TyTN running on custom WM6.1 rom and it works fine. You will need to uninstall the previous version and reboot after install.

I'm running that custom manilla 2d rom and when I tried to install this cab, it keeps saying unsuccessful. Any suggestions. I've hard reset a half dozen times now, but still to no avail. I was specifically looking to put this messenger back on the phone instead of the other alternatives.

if im not mistaking the messenger doesnt work well with touchflo

Thanks Dash, I continued looking and I did a different google search this morning under "wm6 windows live messenger". (duh, I have no idea what I've been using in the search engine before that) Anyway, it gave me a link to xda's forum and sure enough, this was a common problem. Anyway, this link was given there http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1218452936 to download a zip called Windows_Live_10.6.0034.0800__Fixed_.zip. I installed it, and both the 2d manilla touch flo works and the live messenger.
... LOL, if you only knew how long I looked for this. Now to fix the other issues. Have a good one.
