is this cab file only for sprint users (i am with sprint) cuz when i send pictures to other service providers they say they never get my picture but when i sent it to sprint users they get it and i know they can recieve pictures cuz they send me 1

by you sayin sprint only, the cab is installable to sprint phones only...but you can send pics to anyone who has pics in their plan dont matter with what provider they are with, I sent out pics to a verizon user, or tmobile and they get it fine, but lets remember this is a beta I believe and isnt a final version according to where we got this from...

so can anyone help me i installed it and its saying it has an error trying to register my phone.. any pointers on what should i do

sometimes when i go to picture mail it tells me that the picture mail memory low. i close all apps and used pmclean and still get that message from time to time..for me to get it to work i always have to reset.

My suggestion for people having problems with this app, search and download someguy sMMS. Works like a charm and is waaaay better then sprints picture mail, in both user interface and reliability. This is just my opinion though. D/L it and judge for yourself

I keep getting Error G1000.... I called Sprint and after 30 min of transfers.. Ughh.... nobody could tell me what this means or what I need to do....

Haha yeah I had this working on my Mogul bt can't get it to work on the Vogue.... Ah well sMMS gits'er done just fine

the picture mail works fine on the Vogue. i'm not sure why all the problems. to get it setup the first time, i had to unload home. then set it up. then reload home. after that, it worked fine. it was a little quirky about things but it worked pretty good. it works the exact same was as the current version works on the pro. i guess it is possible, however, that the version i was running on my vogue was different than the one posted here. i'm not really sure. it looked exactly like the version on my pro looks.

True to a extent. Don't disclaim it is easy to setup. problem is the software is unreliable. Also what you say smms does. hate to tell you it is the same thing picmail does. they all connect to server. sprints version is a prettied up version of smms.Lucky someguy didn't patent his creation.My pic mail on My girls pro works fine on mine not at all. Both on my custom rom beta 2.The problem basically is on sprints server end and how it authenticates a user. i'm not sure why i haven't had the problems that others have had. and as far as an easy setup, it's not. i just said it's not difficult once home is disabled.
i've tried the sprint pic mail on 3 touches and two pros with 0 problems. and they may do the exact same thing as far as server authentication but i still contend that because of the graphics of the sMMs, it's still much slower running on any of my phones than sprint version.

The thing I don't like about this is that is needs a lot of memory (RAM) for it to run. Pretty much whenever I want to send a pic, I have to soft reset first.

I just spoke to customer service online and he txt me an update and a sprint tv cab i downloaded and my sprint picture mail worked sent a pic to my girlfriend and bamm she got it less then a minute. you guuys have to try

Yeah I doubt it also... but I still will ry it,.. not for pic mail as I use arcsoft and its great... but, i needed a new sprint tv cab because the one i have isnt working, so Ima try this with a reinstall...lol

Yeah I hear yah man... but Im with D/\SH, I doubt it was the cab itself that enabled you pic mail to work...
Im geussing because you said he did some things on his end, and probably some OTA adjustments, he just had you download and install this cab b/c the the installation process it does, help sync ur devices settings w/ sprints network and implement his changes at the moment, or something like that I'm geussing

what are you talking about? the file is atatched in the first post and it is a cab file which is like an exe for your computer.... i would recommend that you take a look at the noob guide which can be found in my signature if you dont know how to install cab files.
