Did you take the battery out for 1 min then hard reset

just to confirm ... after the flash... but before the phone tries to reboot is when to remove bat for 1 min and immediately hard reset (camera powr reset..... right?) imay have at this point doen a different order but i noticed the radio version that is needed before flashing needs to be 3.35+ and my version as far as it states on the phone info is 2.13

r u doing this on the touch pro or the vouge ? The reason I ask you have TP in your phone model. If using the Vouge its the bottom left and right button and the soft rest (hole on the bottom of the phone.

gets stuck at the sun on the horizon screen ... followed all instructions perfectly but still gets stuck...

the only thing i can see is the radio version problem my radio is 2.13.00 is this a problem?

I've personally flashed my mogul to the kaos take 5 rom with no problems, so i do have some experience doing this. My roommate has a verizon xv6900 with wm 6.0 and no gps (stock rom). He has radio version 1.60.30. Now for my ? Can I use his phone as is and unlock the phone then flash to this rom, or wil I need to update the radio? I am not 100% sure if verizon can use a 3.42.xx radios. Also if I do this mod (assuming I can) gps works with verizon even though verizon stock roms have no gps?

DASH i have searched and searched. I can not find a link to an updated radio. I've looked at every post in this and several other threads and used the search. Any chance you have a direct link to an radio I can use?

i flashed the rom and when i take it off activesync it keeps reseting when it gets to the set up screen. I can plug it up and works fine.

thats because you are using an outdated radio....... use the one in this threads first or second post.

Need some help here. I can see the answer to my question. But here is the problem. I need to upgrade my radio, which I thought I did, but didn't. I can get activesync to work now. My phone is stuck on the sun rise screen. Can anyone help me out.

please do a search in the future, been discussed many many times already all you have to do is rename the radio to VOGUIMG.nbh and flash from a card 2 gigs or less. to get it to work you will have too manually enter bootloader.

Rom works great on wifey's touch had a snag but fixed tha problem. for all those stuck on mobility screen just erase rom from memory card then hold power-camera button and reset and will go in boot mode then attach usb if it is not connected will say serial you will know when connected when says usb on bottom. Then if you havent already download rom from htc website 6.1 or one found on Wckediden.. and run it. After you finish that reinstall Kaos rom worked like a champ for me and trust me, I did not ask for support just read post and impervised wallah. Hope this helps and remeber never panic.

Yeah I know I shouldn't have paniced.. I didn't lock my phone after flashing and I was able to flash to stock update the radio and them flash to kaso's rom and had no problems after that. Sorry for being such a noob pain in the ass. Thanks for the great rom as well Kaos.

I guess the only other thing is that I'm not sure if I locked the phone again. Also the ROM tried to install some programs I said ok but it didn't do anything after that.

if you have gone back to stock you have to relock.... what does the bootloader say ( manual bootloader pressing and holding power and camera button while soft resetting) and for the updates you dont have to reset on this rom.... if your running your stock rom just let them run and you will be fine.

I'm now running Kaos's rom, not the stock one. As far as what the bootloader says, I can't remember. No biggie though. I'm just happy that I know what I'm doing now. LOL thanks again for the tough love so to speak.

So I flashed this ROM, but I can;t get youtube working with any version of Opera Mobile. I know I can get youtube with skyfire and htc youtube player, but I want it to function in opera. has anyone had any success? if so, which version of opera and which version of flash?

i read that mike20pr had youtube working with this rom, and i thought it was build 1938, but i cant get it to work. he said that he had videos playing from the opera browser. i was wondering what combo of flash and opera people r using on this rom that has had success with playing youtub videos within the opera browser

i just would like to run opera as close to a desktop browser and am frustrated. i did use opera for device memory but in the broskis post he linked me to sd, so thats y. i just know if youtube works, other sights will work. and yes i have skyfire, but i really don't like it. i like opera's feel and just want a browser that can do it all, so i just need to get flash working.
