ummmm no all gps devices run off the stellites and since telenav get s the maps online as you go it runs off the net. and this can be reached from other towers even like verizons for instance you wont loase signals guarnteed.

just out of curiostiy i used this when on the sprint 3.35 rom and now that im on kaos how would this work for me considering im with alltel and cant really call sprint and you know explain my situation to them

could question,,, i dont think so since the application loads it goes online to verify your accout, but you could try it...i think garmin is better for you

it will still work on the kaos rom no problem. as long as you have the 3.35 radio it will pick it up.

Hey DASH - aside from paying for this service or calling in to get it knocked down... do you think it can be cracked similar to the XM Radio cab? You know how that has a trial period but there is a thing in there that resets the countdown? Since you get a trial period with Telenav, couldn't the counter just be reset with a hack?

naw there is no way to do it that we know of yet..... and prolly wont be because of the way that sprint has it set up.

I used this file to get Sprint Nav working after installing the Kaos take 5 rom. Works as good as it should.

yes we have it here somewhere... i would try to do a search for navigation or sprint navigation and you should be able to find it easily... or if worse comes to worse google is a great resource since it is a freeware persay ...
