First theme i made

it looks really good but the one problem i see is the txt on the portrait blends with the background...

yea i know. well black and green were main colors. no other colors would blend so i put it green so you still could see it on top of the back ground green.

dunno if its possible im sure it is but maybe theres a registry to make it so its blue in portrait and green in landscape ^_O

ide almost bet theres a way you can do it. you just have to look at the strings in the registry.

aka like when screen is flipped on the mogul it changes the picture theres got to be a way to do it to the txt color. hmmmm

if dash says there's no way then there probably isn't. either way it's not that big of a deal. thanks for the suggestions though.

That is pretty sick Tar. Great work. And if the text is an issue one can always just use ThemeGenCE and open the tsk file and change it to whatever color they want it to be. Its not that big a deal. But I kinda like the green on green. But then again, green IS my fav color so Im biased! lol. Nevertheless, AWESOME work Tar!! In a twisted way, its kinda sexy to me lol. :brows:

the ONLY way to edit or change the color on a theme is to use 'UI TWEEKER'. THATS IT !!!thats a badass theme, next time try and b a lil more detailed on what u pix and colors u want used. btw, id use white for both por.. and land.. view

im sure that he will be willing to share the file or you can take the tsk file from the first post and open it with themegence and than extract the images..... if you dont have themegence or know how it works just ask gurl and ill get it extracted for you.

hahahaa no problem took me a while to figure that out than i thought of it and tried it and was like damn right there extracted on my desktop!! :yahoo:

Hi,

I had that problem with the 49ers theme. I took it into themegen and changed the background transparency to a little darker with white text and it worked great. You might try doing that. I think it will work the same way.

hey this theme is bad azz. great job. blending of colors is ok with the green texts but I have rc mod I can change the colors on start bar and all texts.

hey on my desk top and labtop im run alienware. as I am on my ppc. I was wondering like on pc alienware on the start menu is there a way put put the alien head there instead of the windows flag? because on my mogul 6800 im running htc customizer with alienwaree clock and alien ware icons. and with ur them makes it complet running alienware. just tring to see if u can do that or not. let me know if u can.

we have not found a easy way to change the windows flag to what we want to.... i noticed juicy got it done on his newest roms for the diamond but doesnt say **** on how he did it...

it would be different on all phones and the only way is when it is built into the roms.... could be totally different otherwise someone would have said how it is done by now or figured it out...

theres a lot of information on the kitchen and how it works over at ppcgeeks...... they got huge threads with all sorts of information.... just do a search for kitches.

Probex knows how to change the icon...if you want the alienware start button look up his alienware touchflow 2D theme and in it he has the file and directions to change it tot the alien head

for real? is that because of touchflo 2-d or can it be used with any regular rom also by overwriting a file.
