prolly just not compatible with the wing......... lack of memory prolly........

I get that error also. Im running windows 6.1 and i think thats the reason.

I'm running windows mobile 6, not 6.1 on an alltel 6800/titan/mogul and it loads fine however when you select a video it says connecting and then kinda freezes for a little bit and then an error message pops up saying "cannot play video" or something of the sort. I have the original cab downloaded, the fix downloaded, flash player 7 for ppc, and the flash lite 3 however with all of them installed or only certain one's installed it still won't work. I guess I'll just have to stick with vTap.

naw thats not the reason many are running this with WM 6.1

after applying the new WM6.1 ROM Update from alltel and the fix this now works on my phone. so having wm6.1 helped so i wouldn't think it'd cause an issue for anyone.

Yea, I am having the same problem... All I can do is open the app and then veiw the list of videos that are on popular, or most watch or yea.. but when i go to click (or tap) on any of the videos, it just says "connecting" and then when you go to back out to the main menu it say something about an error.. so yea.. maybe its a small glitch :) hope it gets fixed soon!:caffe:

I installed this on my touch and it removed the setting icon. I can play and scroll everything fine but it still plays the lower video quality version of every video. it won't play the fullscreen high quality version.

What rom are you running? and its probaly doin this because you have a stock rom

try going to a custom rom...... stockers arent very good and can block out certain apps from working..... especailly with WM 6.1

hey, ive seen this issue in many threads but no answers, on high quality mode videos seem to skip and buffer, is their any fix to this? i think its about time we get fast high quality you tube videos on our touches lol

Um, I don't know if this has been asked before (I can't find it in the thread, or on the site in general...) But for some reason, today, Youtube stopped working.
Now, I'm not getting the error where videos won't play.
I have a HTC Touch running the stock Alltel WM6.1 rom, the newest one, and it was working great with that fix cab.

Now, though, when I open it....It says 'downloading' for a while, looking for the most popular videos (Or any video list) and it just gives me an error message saying 'No Videos' after about a minute.

I know it's not my data connection, because Opera, Weather, and my email are all still working fine.

Anyone have any idea what's causing this?

as of last thursday this app is working again. 11/20/2008 this app fixed itself!

this app does not require you to be running TF2D. feel free to install it on your TOUCH. if once installed & you soft-reboot, try to load some videos. if it doesn't work, i know of a fix for the TOUCH that you can install that will let you play vids. get back at me if you need help.

lol i was actually talking with a salesperson for sprint and he was talking mad ish about my older touch how i cannot watch youtube and the skyfiure you tube dont count now i have to go back to the store lol

this works perfect on my touch btw the only problem is that i can only scroll down with the button key everything else works i love Wckediden :mylove:

nah i dont think so,its designed for the touch pro. the fix was for the qvga port.

I have a pro and the videos are playing but they in a window in the bottom corner. The whole app is have the screen and very small. It will only download about 5 videos and it will not scroll obviously. Any body have any suggestions?

this is for qvga not vga... you already have the youtube app built into the pro and located right under the internet tab on touchflo....... and you also may want to update your profile if you now have the pro so people dont get confused when they are trying to help you :>
