New HTC Home Customizer v1.0 Final [home screen customizer]

I installed the HHC too my stock sprint ROM. I upgraded too the new spring wm6.1 and now the audio icon wont show on my today screen. It will only let me put four icons in. But when I pick the music icon, its just wont show,

are you running ultimate launch?

wassup guys i know these files for the icons are hard to find, but does any1 know where i can find the glass background for this app? i dont have a pic at the moment but if u kno wat im talking about please share

have you gone to the downloads area through the application.... he has a bunch of them on the server.

Hey Dash,

Hope you been doing well man. I just moved to WM 6 and lost all my programs. Got Quick Menu and Voice Command and a few games back, but HTC Final Version is unsuccesfull when trying to install. I removed the old version and soft reset, but still no luck. Any ideas?

Ok ...I tried downloading from the link in the follow up post, and this time it did install, but when I try to run the program it says "you must have the HTC Home plugin installed, would you like to download and install it now", when I select "yes" it just says "plugin was not installed, please report this error."

So i used to use HTC home customizer a while back on my mogul, but I switched to throttle launcher, then to touchflo 2d. I want to go back to the HTC home cust. I uncheck the throttle launcher for my today screen and check the home customizer box, but nothing shows up and my today screen is just blank. Do i have to remove the touchflo 2d and the throttle launcher from my ppc completely to get the customizer plugin to show up on my today screen? I tried reinstalling HTCHC, but still nothing. Any ideas?

my guess would prolly be yes but i dont have a phone running touchflo 2d at this moment.

ok thats what i'll try, cuz its there, because it takes up the space that the HTCHC takes up on the home screen, but basically its a black spot where it should be. thanks

thanks man nice stuff, im new and had zero issues with this. first app download..wondering how i get a matching bg for the htc home. it only changes the htc home bg. damn i need to search but my search skillz are lagging..thnks again for the app

matching backgrounds and bars are called themes..... go to the side menu and look at the QVGA theme section and you will find what you are looking for.

i installed hhc and before i installed it i disabled all my plugins including ultimate launch and htc home was the only thing checked i installed htc home windows mobile 7 custom theme and when i goto hhc then to the theme tab and click load i get this error an unexpected error has occurred in homecust.exe select quit and then restart this program or select details for more information. after i installed it i did a soft reset installed the htc home 6 tab plugin soft reseted. i uninstalled htc home customizer and reinstalled and did a soft reset it said it had to unpack some files and it could take awhile then after that got done it said that it assumes you got the english version of the htc home plugin which i do and then it said you had to adjust settings to get it to display right or just reinstall the plugin so i reinstalled the plugin and reseted. and now when i goto the themes tab and click load it jumps back to the appearance tab.any help will be greatly apperacted thanxs.

try it fresh off of a hard reset......... i never heard of someone having trouble like this on any qvga device.

is my verizonwireless htc touch (aka verizonwireless vogue or xv6900) qvga or a vga? but anyways the last time i did a hard reset i had major problems i would stop reciveing call some calls would come thru and some wouldnt when i turned my screen on then i would get the notification of missed calls and missed txts maybe hours after the person called and i turned my screen on verizon said everything was fine on there end and replaced my phone i dont want to go thru that again since its a replaced phone will this happen again if not ill gladly do a hard reset as i trust your experince.thanxs dash for taking the time to reply to me.

Your verizon phone is QVGA and what are you trying to do?? Hard reset? That shouldnt be a problem, especially on the STOCK ROM.

ok i know you guys are prob tired of hearing from me...but i tried installing this and it wont work. i installed the home plugin like you said. soft reset. then installed The home customizer and for some reason it keeps popping up saying i need to have the plugin installed..which i do. i have the Kaos take 3 enhanced. yes i tried searching for like an hour. nothing. any help would be great. i dont have ult launch. the only other plugin i have is the resco one. and i unchecked that and still not working.


wait i installed plugin v1.6..could that be why? i see there is a 2.1?

no the new one shouldnt have the same troubles...... i would go after a new one since it sounds like an internal problem.... if ti still does it i would call verizon and tell them to check it out since by law you dont have to pay to terminate your contract if there service doesnt work in your area.

verizon service works fine where im at. just had that problem after a hard reset i just dont want to explain a differnt reason why i need a new phone sent out cause its doing the same thing again cause i told them before i used a demo app that caused me to have to do a hard reset and they told me only to get software from that hando site i didnt want to tell them im using warez. so thanxs dash for the help and i will try a hard reset again and hope i dont got any problems this time.

are you getting a connection error when you try to dial out cause all you do is call them and tell them that you hard reset and they will get you back up nad running,
