NEW VJokToggle (HIDE TOP & BOTTOM TASK BARS) · **Released**: 07-02-2008

Overview: Have you ever wanted to get RID of those top and bottom task bars on your today screen? We'll VjokToggle is a tiny file that does it for you. VjokToggle lets you get rid of the bars so you can utilize the extra space you have on your screen for other apps and plugins.

REQUIREMENTS: TESTED ON WM5/WM6/WM6.1 Devices

INSTRUCTIONS: FIRST: Download the .cab file SECOND: Install the .cab file from your device to the device location on phone. LASTLY: Softreset and use the app at will.

T.I.P./HINT: You have the option to use this app many ways. This app is activated when opening it. Option1: Use it at will. Option2: Assign to a hard or soft key on your phone. Is there any quick restore option rather then soft reset?

oh, :lol: gotcha! Umm you can slide the Keyboard out since i see you have the 6800 and then slide it back in the bars should go back to normal!

yessir or you can just soft reset and they wil be back.

When i slide my phone only get my top bar back. Does the bottom one not come back at all , unless i do a soft reset ?

yea,probably, but whats the big deal.... you dont seek the bar, but the hard keys still work to direct the soft keys where they need to go!

is there a way to stop this from happening, or does it not support landscape. i wont no bars at all time and when i slide open i get the ugly scroll bar on my today screen. other than that this is great app.. thanks

vertical scroll bars are not supported by this app, just top and bottom trays

Thanks for this, I didn't want to lose the top bar but the bottom bar is pointless,
I can slide the keyboard out and back and it gives me the top back but the bottom stay hid.
Now I can fit more on the screen.

yeah i dont want the top bar to come back after i slide the keyboard out, is there a way to do that, in registry or another app?

BRO... PLEASE, did u bother to read the post b4 asking questions?! it specificaly says IFU WANT THE TOP/BOTTOM BARS TO STAY HIDDEN COPY THE EXE OF THE PROGRAM FROM THE PROGRAMS/VJOKTOGGLE FOLDER AND PASTE IT IN THE WINDOWS/ START UP FOLDER...

ummm yeah BRO!!, I DO HAVE AN EDUCATION AND CAN READ, and ummm i DID copy to start up folder (YEAH B4 ASKING QUESTIONS) AND UMMM, maybe if you did READ, you would see i have a 6800, and UMMM, it comes back when i slide the keyboard out, the startup folder only starts the "hiding process" during bootup, but i do appreciate you trying to flame me, but i always read before posting thanks.

maybe its ur phone bro cuz i have a mogul and have np getting rid of it...i read this whole post and didnt know u try it already, im not trying to flame u, but maybe ur b a lil more specific next time.

oh it gets rid of them, no problem with that, but as stated, just comes back when keyboard is out, but i have gotten over that, and mapped to a button to hide again without reset.

I have the 6800 and the top bar comes back everytime you slide the keyboard out, Only way around it is to set it to a button.

total noob here and downloaded this app for my Mogul. I put it in the Startup folder like you said and whenever I slide out the keyboard, the top and bottom bars come back... but their not the stock bars. The bottom two soft keys say "Menu" and "Keypad". any idea how to fix this??

please read through the thread thouroughly in the future. (the answer is here) but no there isnt a fix for it at this point.
