in TomTOM .. i have it set to internal GPS ....

on the phone itself... under external GPS.. there is an access tab i have manage GPS automatically checked off

i think i am now able to get TomTom to recognize the GPS...

there is no icon on phone to tell if i have a valid GPS signal or locked to any satallites ... ?

this one is the right link you need as the title says its for the touch and this si a lil more involved than just installing cab files and all.

all the links above say Unfortunately, the link you have clicked is not available for me so i downloaded the cab off XDA and it didnt come with the read me file!, where can i find the northamerica maps?

best palces is through torrents.... if you need a demonoid accoutn i got my hands on one and send me a pm and ill hook you up.

ok i found the maps online they werent torrent, righ now im extracting them and i downloaded the map keygen then i have to figure out how to install them lol, what i need to know is where can i get voices? i only need 1 i guess

i dont have the time to reup to rapidshare right now i need some help with the reups.... seems like im the only staff member thats reupping the files and trust me its hard to keep up with it all... .so please can some staff help me!!!! its getting to stressful thus the reason i havent been on as much also.

under gps settings:

programs tab ... com4 is selected .. is that correct ..?

hardware tab: hardware port:none
baud rate: 4800

access tab:
manage gps automatically is checked

want to make sure that gps is configured right .. many times when i go to tomtom it never reads a gps signal... i dont think there is a toggle like bluetooth to turn it on and off

D/\sh have u found any voices yet ....

wow im sorry, im not sure where i found them!! im actually thinking of not installing this it seems a bit difficult im really looking for a simple GSP! any easier ones to download and install?

is the traffic included in the fixed cab ... or that would be extra with tomtom ....

has anyone downloaded additional POI from anywhere and added .... have links?

garmin and igo8 arent bad at all...... very easy installs especially igo8.

I'd have to agree. I've had garmin, tomtom, and igo, and i dumped garmin & tomtom for igo because of its ease of instalation if you have to hard reset, as well as the small storage space that it takes.. Plus igo has nice smooth drawing animation, where garmin kind of lacks....
