hello all im a noob to this site but i have an htc mogul in the mail should have it in a few days so hopefully this site will help me learn to mod it:)

welcome to the site! nice choice of phone :P im sure you will find all you need and more here :P just remember to search and use the side menu for all your needs!

no worries, bro, you have come to the right place...this forum is loaded with stuff to mod up that bad boy...

best bet is to research through the Search feature locate at the top of the page...once you find the apps you think you want, then read up on them, chances are some are going to be harder to customize than others..it's whatever you like..

feel free to ask questions, but please do so in the appropriate threads..

didnt know where to post this at so this site is great ive modded my phone alot from this site
so far i have s2u2 with a homemade background also the slider noises app skyfire browser guitarhero3 the full screen keyboard that kicks ass also while reading about this site ive also learned how to add the animated wallpapers to the backround of my s2u2 so thanks to all on this site ........

on top of all that, you should throw in a custom ROM. Kaos' Take 5 is the best so far and allows you to do so much more stuff with ur mogul

yeah i dint get the mogul tho i got the touch the mogul is to big bulky i know the touch is not as powerfull but i still have a bit of time left to trade it in for the diamond but honestly i really dont like theway the diamond looks thed shiny ness and the edges n stuff i really like the way the touch looks with the dull black cover the diamod looks like a pice of black ice from supermans hidden lair not feeling the look

haha good description there. yea one thing i noticed about the new HTCs are that they are very "futuristic." They resemble the 'handys' (cell phones) in Europe. I saw some really sick phones over there. I think HTC really wanted the phones to be flat across the whole front unlike the mogul, where the screen is set into the phone, and it has a curve to the design. i like the new HTCs but i think they will be just like iPods>> scratches and fingerprints everywhere.
