thank ya brotha.....that is way cool....I am liking the look of it alot....the contact list is bomb.....but would like to see the dialer you use.....the issue i have been having is with my big fingers...it is really hard to dial when ya drivin.......yknow????

ya i know... im 6'7'' trust me i know... i use big button dialer... just because its perfect..i mean the manilla dialer still has bugs to be worked out...the bluefrog bigbutton is perfect...no issues smart dialing works. 911 ## works.... and it works with my big ass fingers...lol

funny...i pictured you as a little guy.....ok so....as a new guy here....who is a good computer geek but not too good at the wm stuff yet...and i mean yet....what would you recommend to make my life a little easier...as far as the buttons and ability to get around the phone better....

my biggest complaint is the stinkin stuff on the screens are so puny i cant dial or get into the contact list when i need to make a phone call and drive.....nnot that i like to do that...but sometimes one must....ya know???

for contacts i use icontact v .75 you can find it here

as well as bigbutton dialer...there both in cab form so just install.i use ae button mapper to remap alot of my used alot items to side buttons.. also search for the htc big menu. i know its in the kitchen for making roms so try googling it it maybe available in cab.it enlarges the menus. or so does advance config:rave:

A man I can see eye to eye with... a rarity. I'll second bluefrog as a great dialer and iContact for the big guys. They work great.

cause i am special. thats why it talks...lol. try reinstalling. every version i have used has talked. if you cant find it in settings its pretty sad. learn your programs bro. theres not many settings look around.

Oh, my goodness! Is this the Land of the Giants thread? I ain't exactly peering through your shoelaces at a little over six foot, but gosh. No wonder y'all need your knowledge before you leap. It takes a redwood almost a month to get water from its roots. I'm just saying.

Learned about that first step the hard way myself since I, too, have one a' them ex-wife thingies. Anyway that's why I like the search button on this here forum here.

Good rom, K. Take 2 turned me off since I was (somewhat) new to flashing and couldn't handle the whole losing my in-call ability to quickly turn up the volume (I know, I know -- button mapper software helps) with the scrollwheel since I'm hearing impaired (although my hearing is mysteriously getting better since the divorce:chatterbox:) However, this particular rom is stable, fast and impressive. It stays crunchy, even in milk. Seriously, this Take is worth settling down and starting a family on. Right, Johnboy? Goodnight Mary Ellen (cue the harmonica).

p.s. However if you were to keep doing this stuff......
p.p.s. Would've posted this rubbish in the main thread but just got so overwhelmed by the whole s4n3 Zero n3 saga that I just had to post where the muse told me. Damned muse.
p.p.p.s. "s4n3 0n3" in the Junior Woodchuck Guide is secret decoder ring speak for "Serious Newbie Neurosis For *Code* 303 (my cop buddies tell me that's the super secret police radio code for committing a woodland crime against defenseless chipmunks).

hmmmm well i have mart key added now....so all you do is tap the speaker icon and the scroll wheel on botom raises and lowers volume levels.

Yeah, I caught that. I just don't like having to look at the screen to tap while in call. MINOR detail and preference. The rom is exceptional. I was just ranting the other evening about what y'all were talking about in the main thread about the goings on over at PPC Geeks (I'm Damdifino over there too). I saw that thread and was appalled. I guess all of you Rom Artists have a little sand in the vaseline, so to speak, that makes the whole thing not even worth putting up with. For what it's worth, these creations are addictive to most of us since none of us have even a remote prayer of going on the mod wagon.

And I thought I was weird that way....:freak:
