Kaos's **** Sprint Custom rom Build 420 Take 3

Whats up to my Wckediden fam. Been awhile.But i finally got my exe issues sorted out. Now some of you like my roms. some like but wanted some different things...So I'm a do it like this. Here will be two versions of my take 3. One more politically correct. One same old raw attitude.So hope you enjoy.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. THIS IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE HTC SPRINT MOGUL.FLASHING THIS ROM MAY/WILL RUIN YOUR DEVICE.
MYSELF & Wckediden ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE.

My Rom is based off of nueROM v2.0, build 5067 with some stuff removed some added...all and all very stable...

stock roms use 4mb. my builds are usually 4mb.I recreated it to use 6mb..thous a faster more responsive rom. why i said it flys lol. I am always making changes to my work on a personal level.I thought i would be generous and share..Including with the new icontact update to .75 from .74. If you guys dont want it then i wont.lol

Kaos... I appreciate your response and the explanation. sometimes I tend to take things literally (rom flys..etc..) until I know better. I have been using your ROM version 2 shortly after I got my mogul and found out the potential of it with custom roms. I tried a couple others and did not like them near as much as yours. I continue to use your take 3 and absolutely love it. I would love to help more if I knew how to do stuff with ROM's.

I can personally tell you I am running it a 6mb instead of 4mb and there is a HUGE difference when openning and closing apps and navigating around the phone. THANKS KAOS the build is SICK when the ***** is stripped!

I just really started playing with this. But if you're changing the pagepool its worth putting my apps back in, Can't wait.

You know the slogan, if it aint broke dont fix it. I always use that. In any case, it doesnt hurt the phone and it has it advantages. Its a personal choice and decision on whether or not to flash

I have a question about this rom. Im an alltel customer and im running the take 3 stripped version. I was wondering if I am still running off of Alltels network...cuz its always says dialing to sprint network, and sprint gets horrible service where i live. Also, does the GPS run solely off of sprints network or are they separate satelites? And is it impossible to have MMS on sprint based roms?

Dude i'm running this ROM and get we're sorry but Verizon was unable to authorize your phone. I had the same questions if I was on their network! I am a Sprint customer with the Mogul (obviously)

After I thought i knew what i was doing, I came here and realized otherwise. :40: Ive loaded this rom onto the phone, and the phone boots to a standard home screen, and the only i-feature is the contacts. no touchflo, nada. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're comparing it to the vids and such you see, there's still work to do. Many of those types of apps aren't included in the base rom, but must be added. Some digging around here will find a wealth of toys.

On the touchflo, it's not enabled by default. Go to Start/Settings/Personal/FTouchFlo Config to get started.

no FTouchFlo there. :( I tried searching through all the settings for it. At first I thought i had to soft reset before the default configuration took place on first boot, but that config screen never showed. Just the WM 6.1 logo

you need to reactiviate your phone...hopefull you saved your srl mdn and msid..if not call customer service tell them you need to activate your phone make up a bs story say you upgraded to latest official htc rom.

Make sure that your device is set to discoverable. I haf beamed and Bluetoothed files with No issues. Can you elaborate on your issue? are you getting an error messages?

you cant its a custom build i built for big jew. has to built into rom.I've been swamped plus redoing my system do to wia driver issues with my camcorder..but almost done.when im done ill update take 3 to 6mb.until then you will have to wait or build your own rom.

i installed the htc camera hoping that would fix the camera issue but i still get nothing, is there a step im missing after i install the cab or what should i do or try to get my camera working again??

Sorry if this is a dumb question: just flashed my Mogul for the first time (I used to have a Blackjack with custom ROMs so i'm not a complete noob, but when the rom finished installing & it booted, it looks exactly like the stock rom plus/minus a few apps. Is there something else i have to add to get the homescreen & everything?

As Dash put it, apps. If you take a look at the various youtube videos (either here or on youtube), the authors will tell you which apps they've installed. I'm currently using Ultimate Launcher with the HTC Home plugin for example.

had issues with lappy. frigging nero virus that fucked up my windows updates.was blocking my update services..those who know me know how anal i am.lol so im redoing my pc as i type. i'll have a copy up before weekends over.i have to reinstall everything again.and on a 160gb internal thats alot of stuff...

i know how you feel. i have a big hd too and when i get virus or when pc slows i have to reformat to get everything new again. i will be waiting. btw i installed your take 3 on my guy's mogul and he's like nonchalant about it lol. freaking guy doesn't even care how much work was put into it haha:40:

Dude, Koas, loaded this ROM...SOOO much better than take2, runs so smooth! startup memory I get about 27MB free! and on average free memory is around 19-20 MB! only thing I'm not a huge fan about is the iContact program, thing takes forever to load up! Anyway you can do a release without that program? I have swckedMobile running with this ROM too, so sweet.

icontact doesn't run slow for me at all. it fact, it's speedy. i get about 28-29MB from start up and get average of 24MB hehe. :yahoo:

icontact is standard in my releases..Its speedy for me...the wm 6.1 screen is built into my roms. if you wany a custom 1 off. i charge a fee.but will build you one to what you want.only for you not distribution.pm me for fees. payable via paypal if interested.
