PocketCM .24 July/7/08

PocketCM is a finger friendly contact application for PDA phone, it will allow you to scroll to you list of contacts, call them and edit them.
Actually it's the rewrite in native of ContactManager, a .NET version of a finger friendly contact.

What's new in 0.24? (07/06/2008)

- contact image display in SMS conversation (tapping on it bring contact detail screen)
- command line option: -sms to get SMS view, -favorite to go to favorites, -dialpad to show the phone keyboard pad, and -contacts to go to the contact list.
- better handling of contact image (new mirror option)
- bug fixes in SMS handling (lowered thread priority that could lead to long SMS sending)
- enhanced black theme
- new switch effect when going from/to contact detail
- the ability to apply mirror effect to image (add ",mirror" after image name in your theme)
- confirmation for delete conversation (if selected from an SMS)
- confirmation for image suppression
- bug fixes in add contact from number
- ...and of course, some breaking change in theming (but believe me it's for the better)

I have the LG Prada plugin installed and when I click on Contacts it brings up version .15 of PocketCM because I think it's built into LG Prada, if I installed this version (.24) would it replace .15?

i dont see why not! It should, but it mmay not! I couldnt tell you for %100 cause I dont use Pocket Cm!

I use icontacts.. ALOT better on MEMORY. Just doesnt have the thread SMS, buit i dont need that cause WM6.1 has it built in. Here is a link to it. Check it out!

naw it becasue you need to try to soft reset the lg prada plugin doesnt have any cintact manager built in..... either you didnt soft reset after new install or it is because traces of the old still remain.

Hmm, well I have soft reset plenty of times and PocketCM .15 still comes up; I have hard reset plenty of times and installed LG PRADA and version .15 still comes up; where would the traces of the files be at if they do remain on my phone? Hmmm

not after a hard reset and it isnt built in.... so your saying if you do a ahrd reset and than install just the contacts that it opens up pocketcm?

Well over the past 2 weeks I have hard reset my phone probably 10 times or so because I was having problems w/ the kitchen, but after I hard reset, I install LD PRADA and when I click on the far right icon, it brings up the programs and what not, like a side tab bar, and I click on Contacts and it brings up PocketCM .15; I fixed the problem, just uninstalled the LG PRADA and that fixed it; but you said in the previous post there still could be traces of the program, where would I like for those and what would it be named?

they would have something to do with pocketcm i dont have exact names and would be found throughtout the registry and the windows folder.

I haven't used pocket cm in awhile because of the memory but i might have to stick with this it has improved alot since i last used and it meshes really well with s2u2 caller id.
