right you cant get the stock rom to force roaming at all times.......... it seems that they have took that option out of the rom for some reason. ill look into it and see if i can find the registry string make the change and cab it up.

Well I took a huge risk at trying this on my own with flashing the unlocker and ugrading the radio and now flashing the ROM

THIS ROM WORKS GREAT... NOW I'm just waiting for skyfire to let me know when Beta 2 is finished..

hey dude... been using your rom for awhile now... Its the one i plan on keeping... but it has one annoying thing... when call waiting goes off... it buzzes repeatedly in my ear... not a boop or light beep, but a kinda loud obnoxious buzz that repeats itself... is there a way to change that? I am assuming it is comming from a setting in your rom... any help would be appreciated. thanks

thats the setting with the stock sprint rom and i love it myself and there is no way to deactivate that.

To answer the question that always gets asked....yes, I followed the instructions.

The issue I'm having is with the GPS. After loading the ROM everything works perfectly. But it seems that the GPS stops working the minute I add any new programs (WeatherPanel, Ultimate Launch, FlexMail, Picasa)..

Any idea's why?

no clue you did take out hte battery and hard reset correct?

wtf, i never heard that happening, did u hard reset after u flashed? and you did flash this to a touch rite?

Just went through and did the whole process again (yes, on the touch w/ the battery remove and hard reset). GPS seems to work fine (ie stays connected) after re-doing the ROM. But after adding other programs connecting to GPSToday is spotty (either it doesn't connect or it only connects for a few seconds and then drops). Oh well... maybe I'll DL another GPS program and try it out.
