Hey, I'm glad to be hear, I wanna modify my phone(s) and saw a video on youtube that directed me hear, so here I am.

That I will do. I am anxiously waiting to get me a HTC Touch, hopefully Sprint will just swap out my old ppc 6700 for it. I owned a Mogul and got frustrated with the slowdown but I've been inspired again by your video to get myself a Touch. Plus I was insulted by the new Samsung Instinct and took that back to get my $450 back.

lmao the instinct is junk i hate the iphone and the only iphone thing i have onmy phone is the slide2unlock since it is a more effective and better locking application.

Yeah, I was soooo disappointed with the Instinct. I couldn't believe how horrible the signal was. It kept bouncing around from no bars to full strength. I myself live in a celler dweller and get no signal, well guess my surprise as I couldn't manually switch the phone to digital roam? I heard that with the update to WM 6.1 on the Touch you lose the ability to switch to digital roam manually. Do you know if this is true or not? I know there has to be a way around this if so.

yeah it is with the official rom we got early still not released.... but any further talk on the instinct lets keep to the boards so we dont get this thread out of control and have it bouncing up for searchers on the instinct left and right lmao.

gotcha, I will stay as far away from that phone as possible. I guess I gotta hope then that there will be some way around the digital roam thing. That's why I like my 700wx so much. From what I have experienced it seems (IMO) that the Palm has the strongest signal in my area at least. I don't remember how strong my Mogul was but maybe I can get by without digital roam with the Touch when I am at home.
