Answering problems

I am having an issue with my Sprint Mogul.. When I don't use the device for an hour or so and I get an incoming phone call, I press answer and the thing doesn't answer it just sits there. like it's frozen.. then when the call finally doesn't answer it wakes up and everything is fine for another hour until it happens again...

any suggestions? when it "wakes" up I have 18-21mb free memory..I have wifi off & no news reader or anything..

sound like the problem on the rom version 3.35. try to flash your phone to a different rom like a custom one.

Is there any way to handle this problem w/o the rom flash I read sum-where (may have been ppcgeekz) that this cld be done internally by adjusting sum tweeks inside however I believe you had to know you msid or sumthing I have to do further more homework but there shld be an alternative to switching roms....

any info is helpful Thanx in advance....

I personally don't want to flash my rom, I've done before which led to other things quite not prepared for I'm looking for the answer too but w/o flashing... My phone was moving like a roach on wheels but my screen started tweekin sum crazy boxes.. I like the sprint side plus I'm moving alarmingly fast thanx to overclocking... I'm still researching tho...

I installed the Kaos ROM and it still does the same thing. I let it sit for awhile and tried to call my mogul using wife's phone.. My phone rang and showed who was calling.. I pressed answer and sits there... I pressed it 4-5 times and still wouldn't answer, finally voice mail picked up..

very odd i have ran all roms for a great deal of time to test for you all and i havent had that problem with any rom.......

how many of the apps are running at a time... thats quie a few hoggers of memory in there......

The only things running all the time are Google Search on today page, Battery Level, Sbp GPRS & QuickMenu (which is part of the kaos build).. I close everything and only open it when I need it. I just deleted FlexMail... no change... I have MemMaid system tweaks set to Speed, not Extreme speed (have tried extreme as well).. I also have 22m memory free at the moment.

no clue what would be causing unless you didnt take out the battery and hard reset after you flashed.

I did take out battery & hard reset... I will have to take some time and remove programs one at a time until I find my problem... if you have any other suggestions... I'm open..

1 last thing.. I used Sbp Backup to backup my device, then I installed Koas ROM, then restored backup..

thats the prbole as said before you cant use a backup from a different rom you have to reinstall the apps and all because it is pulling registry and trying to revert the rom back to the old.

those wont casue the problems might have been a bad flash i would try reflashing and if that doesnt work relock and go back to a stock rom and than than if it still does it take it back since you have a hardware issue.
