June 9, 2008: New version! 0.72

A new edition of the new edition of iContact is ready for download, with a ton of bugfixes and feature requests! I've reworked the configuration to separate language into its own file (separate from theme), and updated filenames to allow you to keep multiple themes on your phone.

For those concerned about the keyboard not displaying your language, you can now customize they keyboard by changing "alphabet" in your *.lng file. w00t!

I would like to announce what I have been working on for the last month or so, since I found larna's open-source iContact... A NEW version of iContact! I've added the following features:

Added skin and color scheme support
Made app "full screen" with titlebar matching A_C's S2P and S2U2
Added call log
Added quick scroll-to support
Tied favorites to built-in categories
Added .cab installer for easy uninstall
Fixed icon to a proper transparent one

well im running this one and is a great peice of software, and the best part is that you can toggle between skins by mapping them in the .ini file and has the ABC button back which version 7 removed

well from my opinion the abc is running pretty smooth ans when you click on the name of the contact after you open it, it will redirect you to the default contact editor so you can make changes, im running the diamond skin and have no complaints so far :brows:

hmm.. when i installed it automatically mapped to the right button, but just in case it dnt, you can use a application like sktools to edit the soft key

i installed this and it just looks like the old iContacts. I'ts not black and doesn't have the buttons on the bottom.did i do something wrong?:triste:

hey am having trouble downloading icontacts cab when i click it it sends me to a blank page and they only thing that downloads is a clear gif. is there a different link?

the attachment is down, the server was down the other day and now all the attachments we had are gone. you will have to wait for mike or someone else who has the cab file to reup for you
