My Rom is based off of nueROM v2.0, build 5060 with some stuff removed some added...all and all very stable...

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

Thanks to bepe for the wm6.1 beta builds, and olipro for the unlocker. Thanks to cmonex at xda for all the arm asm / XIP help!

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).
(5050+) = crashes imgfstools on nbmerge. You'll need to manually repair the partition table before using nbmerge.
(5050+) = PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN, THEN HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. The new partition table requires a full reset.

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

You must have radio 3.35 installed on device before flashing..

hey so is there still voice dialing with this rom? my quick launch button doesn't work on the side of the phone and i don't have a voice dialing setting. What's up?

I use Microsoft Voice Command and it works great with my Mogul and kaos' rom. You can set it up to work with the button on the side very easily. No training involved. A pretty slick program that works great, from voice dialing your contacts to playing your favorite mp3's.

Edit: I also get 'em going at work when the notification on the phone goes off for a meeting or an incoming email and then proceeds to read out loud what and where my meeting is!

Sotrry guys i know i am a newby but i am having alot of trouble.... i flashed sprint rom 3.35 or w.e. and then i did not tap screen to set up device... then I flashed Kaos custom rom.... i think i did it right. I saved it to desktop then drug it to the RUU icon.... but now everytime it boots it still has annoying ass sprint logo and not the Kaos stuff... I have a VZ 6800 and i did the Hard reset after takin the batt out! whats up?

you didnt flash the new rom correctly look in my signature for some help and pick the topic above the steps of what you are doing.

did you follow the steps and make sure you took out the battery for 5 seconds and than hard reset right after you flashed like mentioned in the ofrst post in big letters and also throughout this thread?

Lol. Yes sir. I've flashed roms before. i actually flashed this one twice and followed the same steps that are in your signature. what else could be the problem? oh and just to make sure, when using wifi, it isn't charged to your sprint account right?

I am having trouble flashing this rom to my mogul. I have looked at the guides on flashing and as far as i can tell I am doing everything as instructed. When I try flashing I get the Error [262] update error. Does anyone have any ideas as to what i am doing wrong?

did you take the nbh file out of kaos rom and download the ruu file and copy it to that file. run the rom utility update after you do from the ruu folder and not kaos:brows:

Just wanna know if this is just me or if others are having problems with the amount of memory that they have available on average. I have to do numerous soft resets a day to keep me at around 9mb free. 3 or 4 times i had to soft reset because i locked up because i didn't have enough ram to run the programs i had up. anything i can do to fix this?

have you tried using that oxios hibernate program that's included with the ROM?
after a soft reboot I get about 17MB, then drops to about 13MB, how many programs do you have up? I usually try to not have that many programs open. Some people here seem to have better RAM usage...go figure.

It all depends on how many apps you have installed to your device, I have 19 apps installed to device and I still get 19m but when i installed s2u2 it goes down to about 12m b/c s2u2 has a major leak problem.

as I only have 5 Apps installed:

i have the htc home plugin and the HHC installed but i only use the cartoon icons any nothing. i run regularly at 8mb then i cant run more that 2 apps at a time. just needto know if theres somrthing i can do and that texting lag problem solved would help too.

Just try reflashing and as have access to the back of the battery so that the moment you see the radio 3.35 take the batt out and wait one minute, put the battery back in and HARD RESET! and u should be bacl.. make sure you currently flashed to the 3.35 radio before flashing to another custom ROm...

yes I do have the HTC Home plugin with the weather option, but that's it. I didn't download any extra clocks or icons or backgrounds. Sadly, you're not even close :-(

ok then. this will be my third time flashing. now i was flashing from the no2chem 5060 rom to this rom. Should i flash the custom 3.35 first then flash back to this one twice? I love this rom. haven't had any problems but the memory and lagging text messages. so just need to know if i should flash the custom 3.35 first then go straight to this one or if i'm ok just flashing again?

you can try the 3.35 fist after relocking and see what that does for you.

as dash said.The best way to insure your getting a proper flash...relock flash sprint 3.35 rom with gps....After that is installed unlock flash mine...Then Upon first bootup pull the battery at the splash screen...then perform a hard reset...Reflash and do again..this will insure no rom issues...i always flash my roms twice...just to make sure everything stick....

i mean come on people, if you read thru this thread people have all sorts of issues, and thats b/c they don t follow instructions,it says u need sprints 3.35 rom, and it tells u to pull off battery and then hard reset and flash again to make sure everything sticks. I dont see why people are having all sorts of memory or lagging issues when in deed neither me,kaos,dash,jew running this have had no problems what so ever. If you are having a problem its b/c of sumtin that you arent doing fine.people have 10 apps installed and theyre memory is at 10, how is that possibile? you know how, u didnt hard reset after u flashed to this rom, I have 19 apps installed and have 19m and goes down to 17 or 14 b/c of s2u2. Why am I stuck on kaos edition screen? thats b/c u dont have sprints 3,35 rom and u shouldve flashed to it before flashing to this one.

Yup, thats sounds just about right. I definately did not get 3.35 first. I am stuck on the Kaos Screen I have hard reset, soft resest, & tried to run 3.35. But my phone is not having a connection. What can i do at this point to get 3.35 to proceed.

once again read it does get a connection as long as the screen says usb on the rainbow bootloader screen!!!!!!! please search and readin the future or you will get infractions since that question and many others are getting out of control.

Ooooooook. I noticed how anyone who ask a repeat question gets put on blast, sooooo I read all 196 posts and none of them answered my question. I am no at the bootlog screen, I am at the lil midget screen flippin the bird and I have no connection when I try to run 3.35. I clicked on your signature and read the how to's and yet and still I dont have a answer to my question. I understand you may get frustrated with answering the same questions over and over and I understand that I skipped a step. This is information that I am very aware of but I this question has not been answered in this post and what I desprately need at this point is some guidance and assistance on what I need to do to start over considering soft reset, hard reset, and the bootl is not working. Please Help:triste:

as said before oyu have to do a search for the 3.35 radio and flash that over to your phone....... we got it here jsut do a searh for radio nad you will find it.

I am not a noob and no I'm not an expert. I done this before but I have never been stuck where I cant get back to the bootloader. I searched radio and I see how to load a roam from but I dont see how to get to the bootloader. Thats my only issue how to get back to the rainbow screen from the Kao's Edition screen.

as said before hold power and camera while soft resetting
