Pocketnester

Here is a great emulator for NES games. Works well with WM 05 and up (that I have tested).

Unzip then transfer the file (pocketnester.exe) to your phone on the device memory.
You must have this saved in the device and any ROM's in a memory card. Otherwise I wont see them.

Go to options and set these settings:

Preferences:
Associate .nes files with nester (clicked)
auto-frame skip (selected)
Thread priority (normal)

Graphics:
Show more than 8 sprites per line (selected)
ALL OTHER BOXES IN THIS MENU NOT SELECTED - dont remember what is selected by default but either way that should be THE ONLY BOX SELECTED ****make sure the box "GAPI" is NOT selected*****

I didnt mess with sound menu

controllers: you can select whatever you want
i have: Up (w) down (s) left (a) right (d) start (space bar) select (enter)

Directory:
select: relative to rom dir. on both boxes

try those settings

through some searching it looks like pocketnester is comp. with Treo's so I will give it a whirl even though you uploaded the link here on site and not rapidshare. I will post if the link is no good.

I believe its compatible with some treos only like the 700wx which has windows mobile. I dont think its compatible with Palm OS.

yea like dash said you are correct... hopefully tonight i'll have longer then 5 min to mess with it.

i know my wife has the Palm Centro with the Palm OS and i for the life of me cannot stand it. she always wants me to find her stuff for her OS & i usually blow her off..... lol

lol go to www.c4pda.com and you will find a shit load of stuff for the palm os

download the app then tried to run from comp because it is an exe file and says cant excute.....exe files are to be rean from comp right

read the first post it tells you how to install you drag the exe file to the phone and operate.... look a tthe first post again for step by step.

ok so i downloaded it and when i try to play a rom it says something about frame rate and wont play the game

adjust it than so it is faster or slower so your phone is capable of running it. thats all i can really think of. been forever since i ran an emulator on my phone......... if i rememebr correctly thae last time that i did was when i had an i930 through nextel lol...... but hopefully if that doesnt work someone that uses this can help ya out.

can you make SURE that the settings you have it on match the settings i specified? specially the graphics settings.

Does anyone know how to press two buttons at once? Like left and A at the same time so that you can move and do the A button simultaneously. Or how to get diagonal directions by pushing two arrows at the same time (like right + down = diagonal to the bottom right).

hey guys tried to download the app, clicked on the link, nothing happens just gives me a blank page, i heard that the site's having issues with these kinds of things, is there anyway anybody could make a link from megaupload or rapidshare. thanks in avdance!!!!

yes we are having a bit of trouble with attachments, last wcked did a server upgrade or something along those lines and all our attachments went down, reupping it all is a process that goes as needed when you have so much stuff...sracercelica will reup when he can

pocketnester is a freeware and can be found on google...... ill reup if sracelica doesnt beat me to it... i will place an email reminder to myself to do so hwen i get home since i cant do it at work
