This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 release.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. FLASHING THIS ROM MAY/WILL RUIN YOUR DEVICE.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

THE ONLY OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED KITCHEN IS THE PPCGEEKS KITCHEN. If you have an existing installation, you can update using provided basekits. **Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).
(5050+) = crashes imgfstools on nbmerge. You'll need to manually repair the partition table before using nbmerge.
(5050+) = PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN, THEN HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. The new partition table requires a full reset.

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

no there isnt a guide page besides the first post since the most part is self explanatory. and no clue why it wouldnt work since i have used successfully without any problems.

Ok good to know that it works. Am i right in assuming you still can't send MMS messages to handsets? because that's what i was doing?

you can send them i use the application and have no problems. lets see if others chime in and say that have the same problem but im golden. and also after you flashed did you taqke out the battery and than hard reset?

i sure did. it was written so many times and i saw too many people make that mistake to not do it. I'm showing on my mogul that when i hit the send button, it says message sent but then just stores in my microsoft outlook outbox folder but it didn't send. The send/recieve icon isn't open to be selected so i'm not sure what's going on.

did you run the iota cab after you flashed to the new rom?????????? and do you get net access.

i did not run the iota cab after flashing the new rom. i guess i missed that part of the instructions. where can i get that? and does that mean that i have to go back to the step where i take the battery out and hard reset or can i just run the iota cab and be ok?

you can just run it. it will be locasted in the extended rom.

Sooo, i'm still getting a zero. The picture mail is in my outlook outbox ready to be sent off but i can't hit the send/recieve icon and it's not syncing up to send after i hit the send button like i have it set up. I'm open to any other suggestions.

straight therough email bro you will find the way to do this stickied in the mogul section for mms.
