did you use the serial included in the zip file.... i put this on my boyz phone and it worked fine for me.

yes it actually gave me 2 different one and I put it in and it doesnt work. Its like it doesnt even say wrong code or anything. I think I might need to hard reset my brain.

no you dont you just click ok when enerted if i remmeber correctly or when you get to the end it will automatically do it for you

Maybe because when i do that patch thing on my pc it says cant locate file pocketmechanic.exe. basiclly all that patch thing is doing is playing some ol skool zelda music and says put 1 of 2 serials given that dont do anything out of at least a dozen various attempts.

its you than bro since there has een reported many good uses at another site and 2 good uses here so it must be user error somewhere.

I dont doubt user error. I place the cab file on desktop and I place the patch program on desktop. I click on the program to open it and it says

This Patch removed two serial from BlackList
1. Download and install lastest Pocket Mechanic Professional
2. Copy Pocket Mechanic.exe to PC and use Patch
3. Copy back pached Pocket Mechanic.exe to PPC
4. Use Serial: 16B-C12-4A9-B6C-E0D-00F-FF5
OR Serial: E15-091-FB4-723-10F-6D5-A0A

So i tried both of those and it does nothing. So then I click patch button and it says this

POP UP BOX : Can not find the file. Search the file?

I click yes and its no where to be found maybe because its a cab. not a exe. maybe one in the same.

The box now says.

(SEARCH & REPLACE PATCH)
nothing patched!
...done!

*PATCHING DONE*

I Search all files and I try it and it says cant find the pattern and this thing just wont patch.

I dont know if any of you guys have tried it lately but I wonder if Pocket Mechanic is savvy to this hack/patch or whatever it is. I know Im a dip5h!t but this is the first time I have been really stymied.

how we supposed to help you when the keys for me when i tested at work on my boys phone and it worked fine.... i dont get why it works for some but not others unless you are doing summtin wrong....

I put my procedure couple postes back does anything look wrong. Any reason that patch isnt patching? Does it patch cab files? IDK what to do seem simple but its not working for me does anyone have the cab file already patched so I can use the serials cuz they wont take with or without reset. Im confused

no e files bro all you do is take the patch after install and patch it up through file ecplorer thanthe app and than register.

Ok so I have to be sync with my pc and run the patch while im connected to my pc?? What I see is a cab file and a patch file in the rar I put those on desktop so I have the PMechanic cab on desktop and the patch file on desktop then what do I do cuz I cant get this patch thing to find the cab to patch it. I need a noob step by step plz ,I think all my body hair is falling out and Im growing tits from this.

bro i told you above follow these steps.

1. download file in first post
2. install the cab file onto your phones main memory
3. put the cracked exe file on your phone and press and hold and choose copy
4. go to file explorer/program files/ pocket mechanic
5. find the exe file to launch the app
6. in that folder paste the cracked exe file
7. when asks to overwrite choose yes
8. soft reset
9. add serial

calm down you ill be fine no need to get mad........... i wouldnt give up but your choice.... not all this stuff and learning this stuff comes easy bro... takes some trial and error. took me some and cant tell you how many hard resets.

The patch file I have gotten doesnt do anything so I had to remove it all together. I think all this crap is bogging my phone down it says its at 36% with no tasks running

Ok this time this patch file jumped into the pocket mechanic.cab file on desktop is that supposed to happen? The attachment is the file I get when I do the patch.

Im doing those exact steps and the patch file doesnt do anything. Its a BAK file and I palced it in there and it didnt say if I would like to replace anything??? Ive done all this stuff before no prblem but this one is a butthole.

lol let me see what i can do for you and maby get you a different file to easier guide you through this. give me till tonight and i will see what i can do.

ok let me try and help you out...

1. download and extract zip files to your PC
2. take the cab & transfer to ppc main memory
3. install pocket mechanic.
4. it will tell you that the program needs to be registered etc.
5. close out of pocket mechanic
6. navigate to pocket mechanic file on your ppc
7. copy Pocket Mechanic.exe
8. paste into the extracted folder (like me it is still on my home pc)
(so now in that folder you should have the patch.exe, install cab, and now the pocket mechanic.exe)
9. now run the patch.exe
10. overwrite = yes
11. copy (new) pocket mechanic.exe
12 navigate back to ppc
13. paste (new) pocket mechanic.exe
14. overwrite = yes
15. soft reset ppc

Almost there
16. start >> programs >> pocket mechanic
17. enter registration code (hopefully you wrote it down)

Thank you for the step by step for a noob like myself. I did everything exactly like it says there above and I did it slooowwly and it still doesnt accent the code. Im lost. I know I did it cause it sayed it patched the file I replaceed and overwrote the one on the ppc and the pocketmechanic.exe file is even dated for today. I reset it and tried both codes and nothing.

well i am not sure if it is case sensitive but just in case did you:


A. put all the letters in capital letters

B. did you use zero for all the "0"


Also, did you install the cab / program on the main memory?

im not sure things can change from version to version. could just be the picture like that but i think once you successfully enter the whole code it does change

yes it is in my folder and i just left it alone. i do not recall touching it.

now again not to think your stupid but have you tried:

Deleting all the Pocket Mech files off of your PC and PPC.
Then restart your PC and soft reset your PPC.
Then re-downloading from scratch

I know this is a long shot but it is about all I got. I have this loaded on my Treo 700wx and trust me the Treo's are the worst when it comes to PPC applications.

Wel guys after 300 F'n attempts soft resets and crying on here to you guys I got it to work. The funny thing is I didnt do anything different. This was probably the 4th or 5th time I uninstalled reset and re-installed and full repeat of process and BAMM. I dont get it now if my phone breaks Im gonna launch it like a F'n chinese star and snipe it down with a 30/30.:guns: Thanks alot guys for the help.

there isnt anything that will give you better battery thats built into the rom the thing that this does is clear out the phone to restore ram....
