hook it up listen for the sound it will still connect and than once you hear the connect sound run the relocker tool to get it to 1.06 and than once there run the exe straight from the rainbow boot screen and you will be golden... all been discussed before please try to search in the future.

man im stuck in the 1.06 bootloader and it wont flash the new sprint stock rom!!!!!! after I disconnect and reconnect the cord, its dead

its not your in bootloader. what you have to do is this.

1. plug phone in via usb to activesync and let it stay hooked in for round 20 seconds..... DONT UNPLUG!!!!!

4. your golden.

you need to relock your phone using the titan relocking tool and than flash....... you need to be in bootloader 1.06 and your in olipro 2.40

I can flash the titan relocker.

I am not in olipro, I was on bootloader 1.06

I try to flash from the 1.06 screen and nothing happends. Says cant connect USB or some crap man..

ive done it many times bro..... 1.06 is correct... on your screen make sure when you are trying to flash it says usb on the screen.

I dont know what to do all I wanted was to use sprints new update. Why is it so hard

its not if you follow the instructions....... you prolly didnt flash to the new official rom first so you have no radio. you need a radio for the phone to boot. so press and hold the camera button and the power button while resettign with the stylus to get into bootloader. than go here and flash to this radio. just download and flash the 3.35 radio. ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Radios

just take that file put it on the sd card after you format it to fat32.....put it in phone...then hold power button plus camera button...then soft reset while doing this...install the radio.(note this nbh is the radio). then it should work....if not report back..

Ok UPDATE :

What I did was take the 3.35 nbh and threw it in the titan relocker folder lol... Ran the relocker and on the tri color screen hit flash to 3.35... its flashing now..

shouldnt have try to run again... i have never once had oa rom flash go bad on me or a radio flash...... i guess im one of the lucky ones.

no you have to have the radio on the phone to upgrade to the new 6.1. the safest way is to download and flash the official release and than upgrade to the 6.1 5055..... otherwise you have to flash the radio seperately in the link me and kaos both gave you above.

pull your battery for 30 seconds to a minute.....then perform a hard reset...i believe page pool is different size...thous new free memory sizing...

ok, so I upgraded successuflly (Thanks for the great directions) but now I have a question. With this new rom, should I just reinstall everything from my memory stick? Because I tried to use sprite backup to restore my files, but when I do so, it leaves me with no sound and when I make a phone call the phone doesn't ring or anything. I can send and receive messages and make outgoing and incoming calls, but it's as if my earpiece doesn't work after I use the sprite backup. Anyway I can get this sprite backup to restore my files successfully? Thanks

you can not restore from a different rom..the out come is not good....You have to reinstall everything fresh.........

1. if this is the official release how come its not on Sprint or HTC website?
2. when doing the upgrade do u have to turn ur phone off? Will someone calling u while it is running disrupt it and brick my phone?
3. any real advantages so far in the new rom from the old one? im still using the stock 2.09.

ok i have another question. I've been using quick search for an hour so sorry if this has already been in another thread, but after installing this new rom, my activesync doesn't work. I can still use it to synch my contacts, calendar, etc., but when I plug it into my laptop it no longer recognizes it. I did a soft and hard reset, still the same problem, and I have the box checked in the options menu to synchronize with my pc. Any ideas?

if you have vista especially this is a problem that no one has a clue why it happens???? it isnt the app since i used to use it and many others including the staff and members use it..... i just went over this with bigjew and he had to switch usb to get it to work even after hard and soft reset...... do you have another computer that you could try to hook it up to??? ill let big jew guide you through this one when he sees it if he can because he can tell yo uthe steps that he took. also check the prongs inside your phone where it charges to make sure they arent bent and if they are take a needle and see if you can straighten them out. hope this helps some bro.

as dash said check usb pins on phone...kinda wiggle it while its plugged in....if it connects and then unconnects its the phone...if still no go. Then go to start menu...type in device manager...open it up....check with your phone plugged in portable devices....if it doesn't show...check under universal serial bus controllers..check one by one for mis functioning message....also you can check each for recent hardware changes...

Unfortunately I don't have another computer I can use. I have windows xp though.

I did everything you said. IIt says connecting when i plug it in but after awhile it says activesync could not connect to the device.

do you have any firewall programs rather its windows default firewall shut it off and try again i had the same problem as you and i narrowed it down to firewall issue shut it off...

try as wcked said...but i am willing to bet i know whats going on.....go into usb settings on phone it self....uncheck the box under that settings for enable advance network functionality...bet it will work then..

you have to add the port number to the firewall to add it, i forgot it was a while when that happened to me. I'm using my other computer when i get my lappy up i'll let you know which ones it was.


edited: and yes you have to leave it off when you synce it till you add the port number to firewall
